This project has been ongoing for several years. But we were so happy and blessed to do it because it made my dad so proud. These are my grandparents portraits, oil on canvas, in one of my favorite frames.. these portraits were created from their 1942 engagement pictures. They were married and my dad was born in 1945. We got them hung up in the house my dad built just before he passed recently. ElvisjcArt HG thank you so so much for sharing your talent with us!

SO. January has been crazy right? LOW temps, Ice, 🧊 snow, ❄️ massive amounts of rain, 🌧️ flooding, and now sunshine 🌞 and 60*… and that’s just in the last 2 weeks! 😬 When we moved the frame shop “home” we knew it was the right choice because some days the farm requires my attention and some days I can frame for 10 hours nonstop….. But that’s the beauty of being self employed and dedicating my time wherever the farm (& my family) need me most! Spending more time on the farm in this weather allowed some thinking time to dream up a fun give away. And I’m SO excited about it! Then I realized, why should it just be a one time give away? I mean, it’s my give away, I can make all the rules right?? IT IS GONNA BE FUN!!! And LAST ALL YEAR….As in many different winners! Please stay tuned and we’ll post all the details Monday. Hint hint… 😜 start mental notes of all your favorite people and your favorite pics of them they have posted on social media.
