For over 20 years, the Bucksport Bay Festival has brought our community together to create cherished memories—playing on the waterfront, enjoying delicious food, and watching dazzling fireworks with loved ones. Now organized by the Town of Bucksport, we aim to build on these traditions for future generations. Drawing 3,000-5,000 attendees annually, t

he Festival is a vital event that supports local businesses and fosters economic growth in Bucksport and surrounding towns. As proud organizers, we believe the Festival and other town-sponsored programs are key to enhancing our community’s quality of life. We are now accepting vendor applications for the upcoming Bucksport Bay Festival on Saturday, July 19, 2025. This is a great opportunity to showcase your products, crafts, food, or services to a large and enthusiastic crowd.

Design the Official 2025 Bay Festival T-Shirt & Poster

The Bucksport Bay Festival is searching for a fresh, creative design for this year’s official t-shirts and posters—and we want YOU to bring it to life! This is your chance to showcase your talent and have your artwork proudly displayed across the community.

CONTEST DETAILS:

Theme: Your design should capture the spirit of the Town of Bucksport and the Bucksport Bay Festival. It must include the festival date: July 19, 2025.

Who Can Enter: Open to all community members—artists of all ages are welcome!

Submission Deadline: No later than 11:59 PM on February 28, 2025

Prize: The winning design will be featured on the official Bay Festival t-shirts, posters, and social media. Plus, the winner will receive a $50 Gift Card to a BUCKSPORT business of their choice!

How to Enter

1. Create an original design that embodies the energy and essence of Bucksport and the Bay Festival.

2. Submit your artwork as a high-quality digital file or a scanned hand-drawn design to Rich Rotella at [email protected].

3. Include your name, contact information, and a brief description of your inspiration.

A panel of judges will select the top designs, and the community will vote to choose the winner!

Bucksport Bay Festival committee wants to take a moment to give a huge and heartfelt thank you to all of you for such a successful event last Saturday- vendors, food trucks, bands, and everyone and everything in between. The amazing volunteers in the Kids Zone. Waterfront crew for being our go-to for everything under the sun. Past and present town employees that stepped up and made it such a fun day. We couldn't have done it without you.

Judy Pancoast is live at the kids center now! Another show at 2:15pm. You won't want to miss it.

The golf cart races were so funny. It was hard to walk away. If you didn't get to come down here is a video. :) Thank you to Chris and Debbie Grindle for making this happen and bringing a fun and new exciting event to our festival.

Dinghy races happening. TOO funny. Thank you Bill Chandler, Marina Manager for hosting such a fun event. :)
