40th Infantry Division Change of Command for 500 troops. 🪖💓🫶🏽

I have 4 generations of military in my family. Since my path has not been a soldier's path of service, I am honored to be a part of a community that looks for ways to serve our veterans, active duty, reserve, National Guard and Space Force families.

And in the midst of volunteering, I get to witness traditional ceremonies such as this.

Aloha, Orange County! 🌺✨ This holiday season, let's come together to spread joy and generosity through our Toy Drive, proudly sponsored by Move by Mana Inc. 501(c)3, in collaboration with Building Aloha, Pacific Savages Motorcycle Club, and RX2 Motorcycle Lawyers! 🤝

🌟 Join Us in Spreading Joy This Holiday Season! 🌟

As the holidays approach, it's time to come together and make a difference in the lives of underserved seniors, foster youth, and families in need in Orange County, CA. Did you know that nearly 20% of children in our county live in poverty? This holiday season, let's work together to change that!

🎁 Why Toy Drives Matter:
- Foster Youth: Over 1,500 children are currently in the foster care system in Orange County. Many of them will spend the holidays without the warmth of a family celebration. Your donations can bring them joy and a sense of belonging.
- Seniors in Need: Many elderly residents face isolation and hardship, especially during the holiday season. A simple toy or gift can brighten their day and remind them they are not forgotten.
- Families in Crisis: With rising living costs, many families struggle to provide basic necessities, let alone holiday gifts. Your contributions can ensure that children experience the magic of giving and receiving.

💪 Get Involved!
We invite you to volunteer and host donation boxes for our toy drive, in collaboration with the OC Social Services Agency, Move by Mana Inc., Building Aloha NPO, and the Pacific Savagez MC. Together, we can create a community of support and compassion.

🔹 How You Can Help:
1. Host a Donation Box: Set up a collection point at your workplace, school, or community center. DM me to set up a box drop off between Nov. 1st and Nov. 12th.
2. Spread the Word: Share this message with friends and family to increase awareness and participation.
3. Volunteer: Join us in sorting and distributing toys to the families that need them most!

Your small act of kindness can have a huge impact. Together, we can bring smiles and hope to those who need it most this holiday season. Let’s unite to make Orange County a brighter place for everyone!

For someone like me, a Hawaiian native transplant who cherishes culture and community, it serves as a reminder of the resilience and rich traditions of Indigenous peoples across America. Celebrating Indigenous Peoples' Day fosters understanding and respect, allowing us to honor their stories and struggles.

Supporting Indigenous communities can be done in several ways:

1. **Education**: Learn about Indigenous histories, cultures, and current issues. Share this knowledge with others to promote awareness.
2. **Support Indigenous Businesses**: Choose to buy from Indigenous-owned enterprises, helping to sustain their economies.
