No more boxed yellow rice! 🙅🏾♀️ Here’s a quick and easy recipe!————————————————- 2 cups white rice, 2 cups of water, 2 cups of vegetable or chicken broth (I used chicken), 1/2 green & 1/2 red bell pepper, 1 small white onion, 2 tbs unsalted butter, 3 tsp turmeric, 1 tbs dried thyme, 1tbs minced garlic, 2 bay leaves, salt, pepper, garlic, & onion powder, I didn’t measure. Your ancestors will tap your shoulder when it’s enough. 😂 1. Sauté peppers and onion until they become a little soft. 2. Add rinsed rice. 3. Add your water, broth, & seasoning. 4. Bring to a rapid boil & then lower heat to med low. 5. Cook for about 10-15 mins or until all liquid is gone. 6.
