Southern Pineapple Cake

Ingredients:

For the cake:

2 cups all-purpose flour 🌾
2 cups granulated sugar 🧂
1 tsp baking soda 🥄
½ tsp salt 🧂
2 large eggs 🥚🥚
1 tsp vanilla extract 🌼
1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple with juice 🍍
For the frosting:

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened 🍰
½ cup unsalted butter, softened 🧈
4 cups powdered sugar 🍚
1 tsp vanilla extract 🌼
1 cup chopped pecans 🌰
Instructions:

1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 🔥 Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan. 📏

2️⃣ In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking soda, and salt. 🌾🧂

3️⃣ Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and crushed pineapple with juice to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined. 🥚🌼🍍

4️⃣ Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. 📏

5️⃣ Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. ⏳

6️⃣ While the cake is baking, prepare the frosting. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy. 🍰🧈

7️⃣ Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, beating until the frosting is smooth and well combined. 🍚🌼

8️⃣ Stir in the chopped pecans. 🌰

9️⃣ Once the cake is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool completely in the pan. 🌬️

🔟 Spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the cooled cake. 🍰

Do you care what Brand products you purchase when purchasing food or household items??

Me:
personally it depends on what I’m buying but i will only purchase specific items off brand. To me sometimes they do vary in quality and taste depending on what it is. And I as for household products I just can’t …. No generic detergents none of that they all horrible and extremely diluted.
