& that’s a wrap for our 2024 wedding season!

We had the privilege of being a part of so many amazing weddings this year. Each one was so unique and played towards the personality of each couple so well!

I love being able to celebrate with all of you! Your love for each other is infectious. Each wedding reminds me of the beauty of marriage and the special commitment we make to one another for the rest of our lives.

Kathryn & Eric originally booked their wedding date of October 19, 2024. When I reached out back in March to let them know I was pregnant, Kathryn shared that she was also expecting! They decided to move their wedding date up 3 months to accommodate this big news and their due date.

Some times changing plans can be very chaotic and disorganized but this was the complete opposite. Kathryn and Eric did so with such ease and grace. The perfect clients you might even say!

There’s always a lot that goes into consideration when designing a wedding.

Most importantly, we try not to follow trends but instead, make the design unique. When guests walk in, I want them to see the couple in the design.

THREE years of Every Detail Counts!

This business of mine used to be nothing but a dream until one day I decided to make it a reality.

I am so proud of myself for trusting my gut and just going for it. I knew I would excel in the planning aspect because I have 10+ years of experience doing it. It was the whole starting my own business that made me question it. Like how to actually set up a legal business with all its forms & NYS paperwork, figuring out liability insurance coverage, SEOs, bookkeeping, filing taxes, marketing, writing contracts, and hiring help. All things NOT related to event planning 😅 But here we are & I’ve learned so much!

This past year particularly, I learned to accept help and trust someone else with representing Every Detail Counts. I had to come with terms that I couldn’t work weddings by myself 9 months pregnant or 4 weeks postpartum. I trained and she’s been a godsent. It was a blessing in disguise because now we have opened up the door to new opportunities and taking on more clients!

Thank you to all my clients this year that were graceful while I navigated pregnancy & maternity leave.

Here’s to year #4 - booking more events & bigger packages than ever before. It’s progress and I love to see it!

I have finally reached the end of my pregnancy with the little babe expected any day now! It’s been so rewarding to carry around this little guy while still doing what I love most.

Although there is no true “maternity leave” when you have your own business, I will be taking some extra time to soak up these moments of motherhood.

This year I brought onboard to help with events throughout my pregnancy and she will continue to do so moving forward!

I will still be responding to emails and inquires so don’t hesitate to reach out. Please just allow a little extra time for a response.
