New art alert! 👀🎨 During the re-design & construction phase at The Show last spring, when faced with deciding what to do with the foyer walls and the empty halls that make up our ADA path through the building, we did not want to lean into the expected or boring. So, we sought out Resource:Art to see if it would be possible to create a pocket gallery where new groups of people could be introduced to some great local artists in Buffalo.

The talented gallerists Emily Tucker and Elisabeth Samuels developed the concept of ‘Gallery Josephine,” a tribute to Michael Shea’s wife, who helped him create his entertainment empire in the 1920s. Almost a year later, with two exhibits and several artist talks in the books, we couldn’t be happier with the decision to add this creative element to our restoration project. It pays tribute to the original force behind the Sheas empire and has infused the building with new energy and plenty of conversation starters.

What a day, Buffalo! 🥹😍🎄 Thank you to everyone that took some time out of their Saturday to join us. We’re still on cloud nine over ‘s brisket & pulled pork sliders 🤤☁️✨

The owner of La Verdad Cafe, Vivian Robinson, has been cooking and baking for over 30 years! In 2018, the Robinsons decided to open a Smoked BBQ Cafe in the Lovejoy area. Within 4 years of business, La Verdad Cafe was featured in Yelp, Business Insider, Buy Back Buffalo, a cooking competition called “Rat In The Kitchen,” Buffalo Spree, and the list goes on. We can personally attest that their cooking is phenomenal, 12/10 and BEYOND worth trying 🥰

We are so excited to get all of the pictures together! It was truly an amazing market, and we couldn’t have done it without each & every vendor that participated. Many, many thanks ❤️
