Teresa and Lara are thrilled to be onsite for The Center for Food Integrity’s 2024 Transparency Summit in Chicago. It’s been a great week of learning and making connections for attendees and we’re honored to be part of the planning team for our client, CFI!

We also want to say thank you to an incredible meetings and events team at the Loews O’Hare Hotel - we cannot rave more about how wonderful everyone was to work with at this property!

Most of our team was in Fort Myers, FL this week for a client event - Teresa, Lara, Sara and Alyssa. (We missed you, Tonia!)

Midwest Poultry Federation’s Board of Directors is a special group of people that is incredibly fun to work with. Their shared passion for PEAK, its annual trade show and convention, makes our strategy and planning sessions such an inspiration — and incredibly productive. (Plus we always add a little fun in the mix too!)

It’s a big day around here! First of all, Happiest of Birthdays to Teresa, one of our fearless leaders!

Second of all, today is our 5th anniversary as a company! As we reflect on where we started and how far we’ve come, we are incredibly grateful to all of our amazing clients who entrust us with their events. We work with the absolute best people from across the U.S. on many incredible meetings, conferences and trade shows. It’s been a dream come true for us and we thank you!

A big thank you also goes to our team - Sara, Tonia and Alyssa. You make every day fun and productive - and we love that we are a team of empowered women getting things done for our clients!

Finally, thank you to our families, who have always been our biggest supporters. Starting a business is no small leap of faith and has come with both successes and challenges. Knowing you are cheering us on every step of the way makes all the hard work worth it!

Cheers to 5 years and also to the exciting future ahead of us!

We absolutely loved working with the amazing team with The Center for Food Integrity on their Transparency Summit, which debuted in Chicago this week! They are doing great work in the food and agriculture space and we were proud to be a part of it.

And as a side note, the hotel was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish - the hotel’s event and banquets staff truly shine!

What a fun week with two of our clients!

We headed to Florida to spend half the week working with the PEAK Powered by Midwest Poultry Federation Board of Directors on the strategic plans for its 2024 show and beyond. (Plus we had a little visit from a neighborhood gator!)

Then we’ve spent the other half of the week with the National Fisheries Institute on their upcoming 2024 conference.

Suffice it to say we’re in our happy place, thinking creatively and making sure we’ve got a handle on all the little details of these events.

Did we mention we have the best clients?! 🥰

The first half of this week we enjoyed spending time with our client, MPF … part future strategy for their event called PEAK, part fall business meeting for the organization, and plenty of socializing with this fabulous group of people. And oh yeah, we had a visitor swim around while we were out doing a scavenger hunt! 😂😂

What fun! Lara spent the morning at a local high school’s career day, talking about opportunities in event management. She tag-teamed with our colleague and good friend, Amy Sellheim, from The Harrington Company, an associations management firm. Careers like ours are not necessarily well-known, especially by high school and college students, so this was a great opportunity to share what we do!

Last day for Lara in West Lafayette … breakfast is set, coffee is ready, and the morning sessions for our client, Shell Egg Academy, will get rolling shortly. It’s been a great week at Purdue University and Beck Agricultural Center has been an excellent venue host!

We had a successful site visit with our client - @nationalpostalforum - this week at the amazing @gaylordoprylandresort. Now let the planning begin for this event in April 2025!

All work and no play? Fair to say this is not our motto. We love to interject a little fun into our events. This week, our clients (Midwest Poultry Federation) held a board meeting in Fort Myers, FL … and in between all the key strategy sessions and business at hand, we took these fine folks on a tiki cruise around Fort Myers Beach. Last week we were proud to be the planning partner for the Southeast Egg Industry Regional Conference at the amazing Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC. The destination did not disappoint as over 200 attendees spent a couple of days enjoying the area, networking, and learning. We’re already looking forward to next year’s conference in Hilton Head, SC!
