I have big news to share! 🍾📣 My mom wrote a book❕❕❕
“Nursing, Yes I Do! - In Honor of Nurses Everywhere” is a memoir of her life and experience as a nurse through many different roles through the late 1970’s to the present day.
Under a pen name, she shares her stories from the hospital as a new nurse, experiencing everything for the first time. The first IV, the first baby born, the first life lost, the first burn victim - and everything in between.
I’m so incredibly proud of her and am thrilled to be able to share the details of her first local book signing where you can purchase a copy of the book!

Hi! I haven’t been active since we got really busy in June, and there is no letting up until November! 🍾 I’m so thrilled and grateful to have such an amazing group of clients this year.
For anyone who is interested in working together with an event date of November 10th or later, can’t wait! We are unable to take on anymore clients at this time, but I have a list of wonderful resources to refer you to, so don’t hesitate to reach out via our website!
In the meantime, I appreciate everyone’s patience with me as I’m truly in the thick of things and juggling a lot. Im prioritizing clients in order of event and holding off on any new work and consults until after October.

Our girl positively slaying her wedding ensemble as we knew she would!
Felicia came to us at first to make her a custom cape. When she brought in her wedding dress to try it all on, we saw there was still some work that needed to be done. 🥲 This happens from time to time, but we were happy to be able to dig into the tough stuff to perfect her dress for her!
I can’t wait to see more of her Harry Potter themed wedding from last year! She had OWLS, you guys! Owls!!! 🦉🤩👏

prompt brought me back to one of the most beautiful/difficult fabrics I’ve ever worked on.
Liquid-look organza. Everything about this fabric was trying new things - ultimately to change them. Hell, even now - over 6 years later I can think of some things I would do differently!
That’s what happens when each garment you make is custom though. There is a lot to consider between body types, form and function with materials. But I love a challenge and despise habit - so I always jump to try new things!
Anywho… this fabric has literal plastic tube-like fibers, which prevented it from folding flat on itself length wise, so we had to use the cross grain. That also made pressing and finishing the seams and hem fun. 🫠
Draping in actual organza didn’t pan out to provide as accurate a fitted bodice as I thought, so there was a lot of adjusting.
Needless to say, I don’t think I’ll look forward to working with this fabric ever again - but Kathy sure looked amazing, huh?!

Meet the maker(s) in our case! For day 2 see our shiny happy faces!
First up, me! Ali! Buffalo native, FIT grad, unhappy with working in corporate fashion so I started my own business! I also teach at / , have a hunk of a husband, a step daughter and doodle, Sybil that are my whole 🤍
our designer is next! She graduated in 2016 with a degree in apparel design. When she’s not sewing at Anatomy, she is working on her own small batch line, and planning pop-ups for . In her spare time, she likes to be in nature, eat good food, and laugh a lot. (We laugh a lot a whole lot together 😭🤍)
, Liz, our assistant designer is also a Buff State/FIT grad. Part-time Cosplayer with a flair for the fantastical. She can always be bribed with something sparkly. She is our resident beading and embellishment specialist!
Finally, the force that keeps things moving smoothly, ! Married with two dogs: Sebastian is an angel and Miss Frankie has quite the devlish side! To say that Celeste and her husband are huge Bills fans is an understatement. Her Bills themed wedding and sports lair in her basement is the envy of many!
We are so glad to get to know each and everyone of you each year! 🥰
