Meet James Beard Award-winning chef and food writer, Alexander Smalls at Bratts Hill in Larkin Square on March 15th. There will be 2 events, both requiring advance registration. A ticketed dinner at 6 pm which includes 4 courses, wine pairing and a signed copy of "The Contemporary African Kitchen" for $150 per person. In the morning at 10 am there will be a children’s event for his book, "When Alexander Graced the Table". Free books (60 total) will be given out at the morning event. Take a Holiday Stroll in Larkinville on Saturday, December 14th from 11 am - 3 pm. Some venues open earlier and some later. Throughout the neighborhood find holiday activities for all ages, along with fun shopping at the shops in Larkinville plus an assortment of up pop-ups from local vendors plus an author signing. Flying Bison Brewery is hosting their annual Holiday Market.

Santa will be available for photos and meet ups at both ends of Seneca Street, Paula's Donuts ( 11 am - 3 pm) and the Hydraulic Hearth Holiday Garden (12:15 pm - 2 pm)

"Kid Friendly" events include meeting Santa, decorating cookies at Meet and Eat Charcuterie, a children's book fair and food at LE3 Academy, family mini photo shoots at Bratts Hill, coloring at Buffalo Expendables, drawing contest at D.A. Taste and more!

Start your stroll with a free walking tour of the neighborhood with Explore Buffalo. The approx. one hour tour begins and ends at 11am. Meet in front of Bratts Hill in Larkin Square (745 Seneca St).

Carolers from The Charter School for Applied Technologies Mixed Chorus will be strolling throughout the neighborhood from noon to 2 pm. There is plenty to eat and drink as well. And of course, parking is free in the lots off Seneca Street, and Exchange Street.

When you come to the stroll, please consider the donation of an unwrapped toy for a child. Drop offs for the News Neediest Holiday Drive are in the lobby of the Main Larkin at Exchange Building, D.A. The annual Salvation Army Food drive runs through Monday, November 25th. There are donation barrels in both lobbies of the Larkin at Exchange Building, 726 Exchange Street.

We are having a Gift Card/Basket Raffle for the Salvation Army in front of the LCo Building cafeteria today and tomorrow, November 19th & 20th, from 8:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. There are over 90 items - including Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres tickets, many restaurants, stores and food gift cards. The raffle is CASH ONLY.

The raffle drawing will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Winners will be notified.

Join a free walking tour of the historic Larkin District with Explore Buffalo at 11 AM. Meet in Larkin Square for the tour. No reservations needed, just show up! 2. LE3 child care, located at 799 Seneca Street will have a NY life representative who will be creating free Child ID cards for parents. Child ID cards feature a child’s photo, fingerprints, contact information, and other pertinent data needed by the police in case of an emergency.
