Ahh! I love to tell stories, but sometimes it’s challenging to write a simple post when a picture speaks louder than any words I could ever utter.

Becky was absolute perfection on her wedding day.
As a planner herself, she had a clear idea of what she wanted and, although 2020 caused us to postpone, I am glad that our mutual colleague, Noel, was able to execute this edgy and elegant vision into an unforgettable evening, worth the wait.

Matt and Becky’s wedding was as beautiful and brilliant as they are, so to write a simple post will never do them justice.

This 2020 rollercoaster hit a new low today, as I delivered personals to my beautiful couple on what was meant to be their wedding day.

Their already small wedding was suddenly and completely stripped down to just the two of them.

Although blindsided by the unexpected change, my beautiful bride remained stoic and happy to marry the love of her life.

So,
I delivered personal 🌸“non-contact” (there is THAT evil term again), porch drop off...Encouraged and loved my couple with smiles and uplifting words, but drove away with a knot in my throat, pain in my heart and tears in my eyes. 🌸

Still, they are now husband and wife.
Still, life goes on.
Still, love prevails.

Remember, friend, YOU are not alone and we WILL get through this because

This weekend I’m enjoying beauty in small batches, trying to keep things simple.

As I behold this perfect Dahlia, blooming beautifully in this tiny vessel, I am reminded that less CAN be more.

I am also compelled to place value in quality vs. quantity; understanding that the details affect the bigger picture, even if that picture is smaller than what we’re used to.

I hope to convey this concept to my couples, as they plan their weddings amid these crazy times.

Good things do come in small packages.
