For eight years straight, The Peninsula Bangkok has earned Forbes Travel Guide’s five-star rating, and it’s easy to see why.

Just across the River of Kings, the city’s energy hums, but here, it’s all soft silks, leafy courtyards, and riverside calm. Glide to Saphan Taksin pier on a private wooden boat, or dine beneath a centuries-old banyan tree as boats glitter past.

My advice? Make time for the spa. It has a sauna, plunge pools, and massages so personalized, you’ll be floating by the time they’re over.
