The sweetheart table is one of my favorite things about the reception! It’s a perfect way to be gracefully separated from your guests, but for them still to be able to see you and sneak a quick hello.

The sweetheart table gives you space to have intimate time with your new spouse & continue to soak in the beauty of your new marriage! You can do so much with the decor & it makes for great pictures!

If you want to reserve that infamous first look for the aisle, but definitely want to meet your spouse before the ceremony - try a first touch!

Adding in time during your day to see your soon to be spouse can help you shake off any of those "standing in front of all of our friends & family pledging our love and devotion to one another" jitters.

My husband and I wrote letters to one another throughout our dating & engagement (and we even carry it into our marriage!). So of course we wanted to have a first touch but each of us wrote a letter, exchanged it & had a moment of prayer together. I was not nervous about marrying Jesse one bit, but let me tell you, being in front of a crowd AND being the center of what that crowd was focusing on?! Not my cup of tea... But meeting with him an hour or so before the ceremony helped ease that tension and those nerves. It was easily one of my favorite moments of our day!
