At the Riverview tonight is a great DJ who pays attention to the energy in the room, playing just about anything you want to dance to. In one night I heard country, current pop, salsa, current R&B, reggae, and fun, danceable music from the last few decades. I have been to this event several Friday nights and always had a great time. The party ended at midnight, and that may change, but for now, if you like to dance, go early to make the most of the night. The crowds have been friendly people generally in their 20s-50s, couples on a date night, groups of friends and singles. Everyone seems to enjoy the beautiful rooms upstairs and the relaxed, fun vibe. I felt like everyone who made the effort to be there shared an appreciation for a variety of music and many enjoyed dancing. We are so lucky to have this right in Burlington City; we don't have to go to Philly to have a great time in a beautiful room. My name for the party would be Joyful and Unpretentious.
