Grave Blankets
Grave Blankets. Have you ever wondered what they are and why people buy them?
A grave blanket is a beautiful spread of evergreens mounted to a wood base. We then decorate them with a big, beautiful bow, pine cones and or Christmas bulbs in the color scheme of your choice.
A size small is considered a "Pillow". They are three feet long. This size is the regulated size for the National Cemetery, but are sometimes ordered simply for the ease of pick up and placement by the customer themselves.
A medium "Blanket" is four feet long and a large is five feet. Both are available to be ordered as a pick up order, but all three sizes are also available for delivery.
We need to have the proper site location and we will set the Pillow or Grave blanket and stake them down in place.
What do they represent? While the relevance is uncertain, for some it is the thought of keeping your loved one warm for winter. Others may buy them to cover the grave site during the winter months with color and the wonderful smell of fresh evergreen.
Why should you buy your loved one a grave blanket? Let us help you honor your loved ones through the cold months. Let us help you keep the snow off of their site and keep it decorated with something festive that they would have loved. Its a wonderful way to remember them especially if the winter months are harder for you to get out and visit them.
