I tried so many times to make a 2024 highlight reel, but let’s be honest, it would have taken me all night and I’d rather bake cookies and hang out with my family. A goal for next year is to definitely take more videos and make more reels.

Here’s a few highlights of this past year:
💐 Weddings became a big part of Back Porch Petals. I flowered 14 beautiful weddings and I worked with THE BEST couples and families.
💐 I grew so many flowers in my backyard and was able to incorporate them into some wedding designs! My favorites include lisianthus and dahlias.
💐 I taught a bunch of local ladies how to grow dahlias from tubers. I LOVED sharing what I know and walking everyone through the year growing them! So much that I’m planning on adding some cut flower gardening workshops this year. 🫶🏻
💐 I met so many incredible people at workshops I hosted. We had so much fun making flower arrangements and wreaths together. I’m already trying to decide what we do next year!
💐 I continued my flower subscriptions and I just love my subscribers- they’re the best!

Thank you so much for showing up for me and my little business all year. I love sharing flowers with you and hope to share more in 2025.

Well it took until December 21st to get my own wreath finished and on my door, but the Winter Solstice seems like a perfect day anyways.

I had fun adding magnolia leaves and other greens to this wreath. Might have to add them to the mix for workshops next year! What do you think?

December came so fast, but here it is and that means one thing for me! It’s wreath making time!

Tulip Bulb Flash Sale!

I spent this beautiful day planting tulip bulbs and realized I over ordered and have a few extra bulbs. These are all specialty varieties and they will look amazing in your gardens for years to come!
