Flowers can teach leaders many lessons about how to be effective, including:

Adaptability-

Flowers can adapt to changes in their environment, such as light, temperature, and weather. Leaders should be flexible and adaptable, and recognize that people have different working styles, strengths, and preferences.

Nurturing-

Great leaders nurture their teams, similar to how gardeners nurture plants to grow in different conditions. This approach can be learned with practice and patience.

Collaboration-

Flowers grow and bloom together in a garden, creating beautiful landscapes. Leaders should foster collaboration and teamwork.

Softness and resilience-

Cotton flowers are delicate but resilient, and can withstand harsh sun and days without water. Effective leaders can be soft-spoken, empathetic, and kind, while still standing firm in their convictions and decisions.

Intentionality-

Growth doesn't happen by chance, and leaders should start with the best expectations and plan accordingly.

Knowing your people-

Not all people grow at the same pace, so leaders need to know their people well, so they don't develop unrealistic expectations.
