Watauga Lake Winery is a hidden gem nestled in the Appalachian mountains of Eastern Tennessee. Formerly the old Dry Run Schoolhouse, this winery has a past and long line of history. In 2014, the Heritage Hunters Society deemed it a “Haunted Location” upon investigating for paranormal activity. Be sure to ask your server about their personal ghost encounters on your visit! lection of wines, we offer wood-fired pizzas, soup, and a winery gift shop. Enjoy a curated tasting in the comfort of indoors or our outdoor space equipped with yard games and fire pits. After a month of being closed to focus on relief efforts following the storm, Villa Nove Vineyards is thrilled to announce we are reopening Friday, October 25th at noon! As the sun breaks through the clouds, the leaves shimmer with the changing fall colors, and the tasting room is filled with the rich aromas of newly bottled vintages. Visitors can once again enjoy glasses of their favorite wines while soaking in the serene beauty of our grounds. With the spirit of resilience and community, Villa Nove Vineyards invites everyone to raise a glass to new beginnings and cherished moments. We can't wait to see you there!

Happy Thanksgiving!!! THANK YOU to everyone that made today happen! We got to spend the holiday with 100 of our dearest winery friends! Shoutout to our amazing cooks, Gail & Kathy who worked so hard to prepare the meal, Kiel & Lee for closing in the patio/helping set up, and our lovely servers, Trish, Sadie & Calli Rae that volunteered to come in and spend their day here.
