6-Flight Lines! Food On Site, Spectator Seating, Camping, 3,260 X 50 Foot Paved Runway, No Flying Restrictions, RV Parking (No Hook-Ups), On Site Friday Night Pilots Dinner, On Site Banquet Dinner And Auction With 34 Spectacular Awards Including The "Pretigious" Colonel Robert Thacker Award. GENERAL INFORMATION:

y is a non-compete event, this is an open, fun-fly event with very few restrictions. Best In The West is an AMA Sanctioned event. All Registered Pilots must have a valid AMA Card and must be a CURRENT Turbine Waiver holder. If you plan on operating a turbine-powered model, you must show proof that you possess a current AMA Turbine Waiver. If you plan on only flying Electric or gas ducted fans, you must only be AMA current. Please have this information before you register. All pilots who wish to participate in the event, and do not hold a AMA Turbine Waiver, you
may still register as a pilot. However, all Non-Waiver Pilots, must fly on the buddy box system. If you would like to have a Turbine Waiver Pilot and CD sign you off, this may be done ONLY on Thursday at 6:00 PM. Please have all AMA papers with you. Please contact Joe for waiver day & time. CAMPING:
If you wish to camp on-site, please contact one of the organizers of the show. Camping is FREE for all Pilots and Crew who are registered in the show. FOOD:
Food service will be available on site. Serving Breakfast and Lunch from
Thursday Oct 6th, ends on Saturday Oct 8th, 2016. There will be plenty of food, water,
and soft drinks available for purchase. TRAILER & RV RENTALS:

We are 1 month out from day one of a 6 day event. Pre registration will end on October 6th we have some Tents still to rent but soon I will end Tent rentals as we are pushing full Capacity. If you will be attending, please pre register. $75 on line Registration, $85 Registration at the field.

Hello everyone,
We are 2 months out from this year's BITW, just another reminder if you plan on attending, please pre register today. If you are planning on attending and you are renting a tent, please do so asap as tent rentals are going fast, please check off all rental needs; Tents, Sides, Tables, Chairs and Tent Lighting.
If you plan on attending the Saturday Night Dinner, Awards, and Auction Banquet, please purchase your ticket(s), you may purchase as many tickets needed for your family and friends.
Thursday Jobe Carbajal Taco Night is Free for all registered pilots, you may also purchase as many tickets needed for family and friends.
Friday Night Pilots dinner is also free for all registered pilots and you may also purchase as many tickets needed for family and friends. You may also purchase all raffle tickets, Pilot and General as well as 50/50 tickets, T Shirts and Hats will also be available for purchase. All above can be found on our website, you may also purchase all the above at the Registration table, all dinners purchased at the field will be limited because I need to call in head count for all dinners several days prior, so please get your tickets now on line.
If you are staying at the field with RV, 5th wheel, etc etc, please purchase your parking pass on line, if you park and there is no parking pass shown, you will be asked to pay for a parking pass at the registration table.

This year, Best in the West will be doing a Special Raffle, we will raffle off an Elite Aerosports GTS Havoc, anyone world wide may purchase a ticket, tickets will sell for $50.00 each, and you may purchase as many tickets as you like. Please note: you do not have to be at the event, but if you win the Havoc GTS, shipping will be only in the lower 48 states, anyone living in the US or outside of the US, and win, you must arrange to have your Havoc shipped to you. You may also purchase Friday Night Pilots dinner for all others who wish to join us for dinner, registered pilots are free. Saturday Night Banquet tickets may also be purchased on line, you may also purchase as many tickets as you need.
