Nicole and Jack met in 2018 at Grand Valley State University through a mutual friend. They were friends for a while and then started dating in the summer of 2019. Nicole had a feeling that Jack was “the one” before they even started dating. They got along so well and had so much in common. After dating a few years, Nicole moved to Florida for grad school and asked Jack to come with her because she knew she wanted to marry him. He said he knew she was “the one” on their first date!

Nate and Emily first met during Nate’s junior year and Emily’s freshman year at Adrian College in 2014. They were both runners on the cross country and track team and Nate slyly got Emily’s number from the team contact list during welcome week. He texted Emily to “make sure she knew where to go” for a team get together that night but had full intention of keeping the conversation going (and that he did!). Amongst all the new people they were meeting at college and on their team, they knew during the first week they met there was something special between them.

Sydnie first met Alex in college when she was 19 years old. One of her bridesmaids was a coworker and friend of Alex’s and introduced them. During a trip to Sunset Point on Presque Isle in Marquette, they were talking and watching the sunset from Alex’s truck. Sydnie felt so at home and safe there and thought that she could do this with him every day for the rest of her life and never be sick of it.

Sheldon and Jared met in December 2019 through a mutual friend after Sheldon followed Jared on Instagram because she had a little crush on him! Sheldon first fell in love with Jared during COVID when they spent a ton of time together and with family. They both knew early into the relationship that they wanted to marry each other. Sheldon remembers looking at him the first time she met him and knowing he was something special.

Dana and Ben briefly met back in 2018 when they were both at a mutual friend’s birthday. They went their separate ways and didn’t cross paths again until 2 years later when they matched on a dating app. A few days later they went on a first date and had so much fun getting to know each other. And the rest is history!

Remember that it is only one day and you have the rest of your lives to spend together, so don’t sweat the small stuff.
