As we are gearing up for the outdoor rental season we wanted to reintroduce ourselves and show you the faces behind River Valley Tents & Events. We are Steve and Katie Peterson and started RVTE with the dream of growing a business as our kids grow. Allowing us the opportunity to work along side them and hopefully pass it down to them one day.

RVTE is a licensed and insured business offering tents, tables and chairs that are manufactured by industry leaders in the Midwest. Our prices are competitive with other insured companies in the area that offer top quality equipment similar to ours.

Looking for a tent that can accommodate a larger group? We now have two tents that can comfortably seat a large crowd. Our 40'x40' pole tent allows for flexible seating arrangements, accommodating 120 to 160 guests with ease. The vast dimensions of our 40'x60' tent will allow seating for up to 240 guests. My garden is so thankful for this rain today, but if you had any outside plans, you might not be so happy for the rainy day. We have two wall options for our tents to keep you protected from the rain and wind when hosting an outside event. Solid white or window walls can be added to any or all sides of the tent to provide additional shade or protection from the weather.

Who we are:
We are a family owned business located in Byron, IL. We started River Valley Tents & Events in 2023 with the dream of running a business allowing us to spend more time together as a family. River Valley Tents & Events truly is a family affair, and our kids can be seen helping us with a delivery, cleaning chairs and tables after an event, or loading the trailer prior to drop off. It is our hope that one day our children will take over the business.
