About Smoke Wrangler KC BBQ

We couldn’t be more excited to bring Kansas City barbecue to Michigan. Evan Leitnaker has been immersed in the barbecue field for almost a decade specifically in Kansas City. We relocated to Michigan recently after many summers spent in Baldwin MI at Carly Leitnaker's parent’s lakeside cabin. It’s all about the rub and the wood. After hand selecting meats, a mouth-wate

ring mix of special spices and herbs is used to coat our ribs, brisket and other menu items which are then smoked long and slow over oak wood to capture the rich juices of the high-quality meat. We enjoy experimenting with various techniques and ingredients from other cultures as well, to create a one-of-a-kind smoked experience. We’re honored to collaborate with 876 Restaurant in Baldwin, MI and will be smoking a couple of Wednesdays’ a month. We also hope to have our pop-up smoker business up and running soon at various locations.

Hello everyone, happy smoked meal Sunday! Evan from Smoke Wrangler had his smoker fired up at the store last night and Ken fired up our smoker so we have lots of deliciousness ready for you today! Come see us if you are hungry for beef brisket, turkey breast, pulled pork, and yummy sides. Available beginning at noon today til we sell out. You can also order our pizza, breadsticks, calzones, and other tasty treats off the menu.

Tuesday- taco Tuesday featuring Fenner Farm beef or house smoked pulled pork loaded tacos
Wednesday- bacon chicken ranch wraps or our delicious house smoked chicken salad wraps til we run out
Thursday - house smoked pulled pork meal
Friday - nacho average Friday featuring either Fenner Farm beef or house smoked pulled pork loaded nachos
Saturday - hots sub day with your choice between our house smoked pulled pork, Italian, or smoked turkey breast (either hot or cold)
Sunday - smoked meats day! Your choice of house smoked pulled pork, Smoke Wrangler turkey breast, or beef brisket. All are super tender and tasty!

We also have some of the oh-so-tasty smoked ham salad by Smoke Wrangler back in stock, so pick some up before we are sold out again. It is absolutely delicious!!!

☘️Happy St. Patty’s Day y’all! ☘️ We are back at Meauwataka General store today serving up smoked corned beef brisket! Eat it by itself or in the form of a Ruben sandwich. We also have an array of hand stuffed sausages-polish, banger and cheddar jalepeno! Plus our Carolina mustard sauce is making its first appearance! Thank you so much for all the orders so far! ❗️Late post ❗️We had so much fun partnering with Meauwataka General store for the Super Bowl! Featured was our hand stuffed jalapeño cheddar sausage, beef brisket sausage, sliced brisket, brisket hot sub and smoked ham salad (not pictured.) It feels so good to be serving the wonderful community that we live in. Thank you to all who came out to support us! We look forward to future adventures with the great people at Meauwataka!

Come see us this Wednesday at 876 Baldwin for some pulled pork and ribs! We smoke the pork shoulders for nearly 18 hours until the bone slides right out and the meat shreds beautifully! Get a rib platter, pulled pork platter, or a combo of the two. 5:00-8:00 or until it’s all gone this Wednesday! Come hungry!

My last post may or may not have posted, so sorry if you see this twice, BUT! Ribs and brisket coming at you Wednesday. Choose either one or a combo platter of the two. Once again, you’ll only find Evan’s barbecue this Wednesday at 876 Baldwin! 5:00 until sold out!
