About Smoke Wrangler KC BBQ

We couldn’t be more excited to bring Kansas City barbecue to Michigan. Evan Leitnaker has been immersed in the barbecue field for almost a decade specifically in Kansas City. We relocated to Michigan recently after many summers spent in Baldwin MI at Carly Leitnaker's parent’s lakeside cabin. It’s all about the rub and the wood. After hand selecting meats, a mouth-wate

ring mix of special spices and herbs is used to coat our ribs, brisket and other menu items which are then smoked long and slow over oak wood to capture the rich juices of the high-quality meat. We enjoy experimenting with various techniques and ingredients from other cultures as well, to create a one-of-a-kind smoked experience. We’re honored to collaborate with 876 Restaurant in Baldwin, MI and will be smoking a couple of Wednesdays’ a month. We also hope to have our pop-up smoker business up and running soon at various locations.

Hello friends, happy Monday!!! We have our tasty smoked beef sandwiches or house made mac n cheese today for our meal deal.
Tomorrow our meal deal (on Tuesday), is Taco Tuesday with loaded FennerFarm beef tacos.

This Sunday (July 13, 2025) Evan from Smoke Wrangler will be back and smoking some delicious beef brisket, turkey breast, and his hand stuffed jalapeño cheddar brats.
