Unfortunately, due to the many ongoing covid restrictions that have been placed upon venues and event centers.... The owner has decided to "permanently close" at this time. It deeply saddens us 😞😞😞, as we have built a very successful business, prior to being shut down. Our venue is quite large, and can accommodate up to 800 guests. "ALL" of our events and weddings were between 250 and 500 guests, well over the restricted numbers allowed. We very rarely host small events. With such uncertainty ahead, and losing almost an entire year of income, the owner is looking at other avenues for the building. Nothing will be decided at this time, until things look a bit more stable overall. We want to Thank Each and Every One of You ❤️ for contributing to the success of Cherry Grove Event Center over the past 7 years. We sure do miss serving this Community. We will keep you posted if anything changes. Refunds for last year's event deposits have all been given back to everyone, and the owner will have this year's deposits refunded within the next 6 months. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time.

Due to the rising cases with Covid, and the uncertainty of the Future....The owner has made a decision to close our Venue for the remainder of the year.😔 We realize that this is a very difficult time for Everyone, and our Hearts ❤️ go out to all of the Wonderful Brides and Grooms and their Families, Corporate Parties and Events that cannot happen this year, as well as all of the other Businesses that have been affected. Cherry Grove Event Center is the Largest Wedding and Event Venue in Cadillac, and we are set up for Large Indoor Weddings, Parties, Corporate Meetings and Functions, and everything in between! We were looking at an Incredibly busy season...and all of our events and weddings are well over the restricted number of guests allowed inside the venue at this time. Unfortunately, all of them had to be cancelled.
We choose to follow the guidelines...as the Safety of Each and Every one of our Guests, as well as all of Our Staffing is our Number One Priority! ❤️☺️ We truly appreciate all of the patience, understanding, and support that we have received during this whole timeframe. We miss people, our events and planning, and the excitement of wedding season and the busy schedule that it brings! Again, Safety is Number One!!! We respect our Community and it's People.....and We will continue to provide updates if anything changes. Our Venue is working hard to get everyone's deposits refunded in a timely manner.... and we understand how important it is for you to be reimbursed. We truly appreciate our Community and are Extremely Grateful for the people who have helped make our Business prosper over the years! Take Care, and Stay Safe and Healthy! ❤️❤️❤️

Our Tenative Reopen Date for Meetings, Scheduled Tours (social distanced), and so forth is still set for July 20th! Looking forward to seeing Everyone again real soon!

We are anxiously awaiting to get back to our venue....doing what we Love to do! 🙌 ❤️ Unfortunately, we still have some restrictions on Large Weddings and Events...as we are equipped for "indoor only" for our Receptions. We have successfully rescheduled all of our June and most of July and part of August events, to date! We truly appreciate your Kindness and Cooperation, during this time! ❤️ Thankful for all of the Wonderful people we are working with, as we try to navigate through a bit of uncertainty, and continue with the planning process! Our goal is to be up and running with our events and weddings by "August", as all of ours are quite large. We are praying that the restrictions are lifted more by then. At this time, we are setting a tentative date of "July 20th" to schedule event meetings, small groups to tour the venue (social distancing), and wedding meetings for our upcoming season to continue the planning details! Just letting Everyone know that we are thinking of you! 💜 As of today, some of the restrictions have been somewhat lifted...however we do have a little ways to go before large events will be able to take place. We encourage you to take a look at everything...if you would like to reschedule your event or wedding for a later date (if you are still hoping to have your same number of guests), we still have some availability in the Fall months. We will transfer your deposit onto the new date. Next year is beginning to fill up quickly....if you do have a date in mind, please give us a call at 231-499-5338. Our goal is to work with you in any way that we can to make your Wedding Day Special and what you were hoping for! 💕 Our venue will continue to keep you posted every step of the way! We will all get through this TOGETHER! 💜

Given the current circumstance, many of our upcoming events will need to be rescheduled, and have been already. We are working hard to accommodate the needs of our Brides and Families, corporate functions, proms, and many more, as we are a busy venue, and are getting calls daily. At this point, there is "no guarantee" of being able to have your event this season. Please be prepared for this!

We encourage you to take a look at everything, if you are someone who has an event booked with us this season. We will do our best to get your event rescheduled, if there is availability. Please continue to follow "all guidelines" set for venues, and meeting spaces, etc. At this point, all of our March, April, and May events will need to be rescheduled, and most have been already. We are staying on top of this!

Please stay home, stay healthy, and don't panic. We are all in this together! ❤️🙌 Continue to pray with your Family, get your rest, proper nutrition, and also feed your mind with positivity....Devotions, a walk, cook a new recipe, Family movie and game nights, and getting back to the basics.

Sunflowers, succulents, and greenery was the theme this past weekend, for our Gorgeous Bride's Wedding! The couple chose to have both their Ceremony and Reception at our venue for convenience for their guests, and also the peace of mind of having a backup plan of an indoor set up, as it was a chilly Fall weekend! Catering and Bar services were provided "in house", and all room design and decorating was done by the wedding planner!
