There is a very special place in our hearts here at B’s for Monroe. We are sharing what her wonderful mother is posting to help this family feel all the love as possible from their community. Continue to send up those prayers of healing!!!

This page is about our journey as a family, typically we post about autism and the lessons we learn. I always try to keep things as positive as I can, but also stay honest and real. So I have to share that we are at a turning point in our journey as a family.
And it isn’t easy to digest, accept, or talk about just yet.

On Monday afternoon we rushed our healthy seven year old daughter from outpatient labs to the emergency room. By the evening hours we were being rushed by ambulance to a children’s hospital pediatric intensive care unit.

They’ve found a mass in her brain.
A tumor with little options for treatment.
A lot of big scary words that I’m not googling or putting into my dictionary at this time.
I can’t.

I’m counting my successes by making it through each day. Day three. We’ve made impossible decisions, heard unthinkable news, had some of the scariest times of our lives…. for three days.

The purpose of this page has always been to help other families feel less alone, to educate, to connect with others, and we will continue to do all of that. But I need a safe space to share about these new challenges in hopes a village comes together to keep us less alone on this next journey.

Stick with us please as we learn to navigate a whole new and overwhelming world that I never, ever expected to be a part of our story.

This sucks.
This feels unfair.
And it feels terrifying.

Please pray for our family friends, we truly need Monroe’s Miracle.

We agree with Buddy, smiling’s one of our favorite things too!!!!! Put a smile on your favorite Husky’s face with an elf inspired arrangement! This a quick “sample” of what we will be offering for the play this week. We have Buddy’s elf hat and various elf movie themed picks to nestle in the Christmas themed florals! Miss Chris will be playing around with “snow” tomorrow! Hopefully this experiment doesn’t leave her feeling like a cotton-headed ninny-muggins.
