Good morning Cadiz,
This post is bittersweet for us here at Stuff In Balloons –
We’ve found someone with a vision and we’ve sold the business to them. Many of you may know the new owners, as they are from Cadiz. Greg and Tracy Taylor have purchased a dream. Tracy has been a customer and friend at Stuff In Balloons for several years and she understands the need the business fills in the community. Their daughter Greghen will be running the shop day-to-day and I’ll be here with her for the first 2 months (and as she needs me for several months after that) in an advisory role to make sure we have a seamless transition. Of course, they will put their own stamp on things and I’m looking forward to helping them create their vision for the business going forward.
You’ve showered us for over 5 years with love and support as we grew from a tiny little room selling Stuffed Balloons and helped us blossom into something really special. I know you will continue your support as Greg, Tracy and Greghen begin their own journey.
Stop in and see me today and tomorrow (Friday, June 21st) regular hours. In our family we don't say goodbye - we just say "see ya later". Saturday we will be closed for in-store shopping to make a few last-minute adjustments before Greg, Tracy and Greghen reopen next week. You can now create your own one of a kind Balloon Bouq on the website for pick up or delivery.
Choose your balloons by occasion, select Make a Bouquet to add colorful balloons, add numbers, add a Big Balloon for EXTRA FUN and choose a FUN base.
You can add balloons to any gift just by letting us know in the design instructions which item to attach the balloon(s) to. So, whether you want just one balloon or a BUNCH of Balloons... we made it easy to add some FUN!

We were happy to be a sponsor at the Annual Chamber of Commerce Award Dinner last night. Along with the "Freshen Up" stations in the restrooms, we provided the loose flowers for the decorating committee. They did a great job of creating lush arrangements for the tables.

Hey Folks,
A quick update for the foreseeable future - we are going to be closed for in-store shopping on Sunday & Mondays.
Delivery will still be available for Monday - just not same day - orders will need to be placed during regular hours Tuesday-Saturday.

My Mom has a bunch of appointments over the Summer and Caleb and Nik are both out doing Army/Reserve/College Stuff and are not able to help as much as normal. Monday is usually our quiet day during the Summer so that is our best day to close without inconveniencing you all too much.

Good Afternoon Folks,

I know this has been a really rough week for so many here in Trigg County and our neighboring areas and it's made me look at a few things a little differently. We're making some adjustments here at Stuff In Balloons as I realized that we have gotten a little away from what makes us Stuff In Balloons - the FUN, HAPPY place to send smiles with a unique and creative gift.

My promise to you is -- We're going to do better.
We're going to do better because we want to Do Good Things, Have Fun and Be Happy! for as long as possible.

You all know that the Army is telling us our time left here in Cadiz is short (We are guesstimating about a year) and the business is listed for sale. We hope to find someone who will continue Stuff In Balloons with all the love we've poured into it. When that happens, I know you all will continue your amazing Trigg County support. Until then... We're going to do better. 💐

Good Morning Cadiz,
We were blessed to not have a lot of damage, both at home and at the shop and we appreciate all the folks who are out there trying to get Trigg county up and running again.
Yesterday Caleb and I came in and created bouquets from the flowers that were in the cooler when we lost electricity. The back cooler got a little warmer than I like to see it and although those flowers were still pretty, in good conscience I couldn't sell them to you all knowing they would only last a few days at best. We delivered those arrangements to Pennyrile, Cadiz Police Dept, Trigg County Sheriff and a few other places hoping to remind them that we all really DO appreciate their hard work through this difficult situation. I know it's frustrating, but please remember that the folks in the offices aren't responsible for the storm or the damage or the time it takes to safely get the lines and trees cleared so new poles and lines can be put in place. The crews are out there working as fast as they can to get everyone powered back up.
