DEAR MAMA,

I don’t tell you as much as I should but thank you for everything you’ve done and still do til this day. I am forever grateful BUT there is one thing that I thank you for the most and that’s not cooking for me and my brother growing up. I still remember your favorite saying “y’all better go in there and find y’all something to eat, I’m not cooking and I’m not buying nothing” lol but I’m not complaining at all because at that time I didn’t know sampling different seasonings to go in my noodles or finding random packs of meat in the freezer to cook on the George Forman grill would be the jumpstart to my true passion. Now look at me, a humble BEAST in the kitchen and on that grill all because I took what some would’ve looked at as a negative and I made a positive out of it, so once again THANK YOU, Carol Davis!
