This organization has helped countless people overcome their battles with substance abuse, homelessness, and other life struggles. This is a fantastic organization to have in our community and we’re honored to support them.

Marvin Yensen, a longtime music instructor and dear friend of all at American Music USA, recently passed away of natural causes.

A gathering in celebration of his life will be hosted at American Music USA on Saturday, April 10 at 6:00pm MST. We welcome you to join us in person or via livestream by following the attached link. This link will also be available on our website the day of the celebration.

This will be a very casual event, so please come as you are. Food and drink will follow. We encourage any former students of Marv to bring their instruments to participate in a jam session in his honor.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of one of our founders, Salli Christensen. Salli had battled Alzheimer’s disease for the past four years. While we are terribly saddened by her absence, we can rejoice knowing she has received the ultimate healing—the salvation she found in her Lord Jesus Christ.

Attached to this post is a production from Valley Church in Caldwell, Idaho. Salli and her husband, Don, served as the music directors for several years at Valley Church. Salli is featured in several of the songs in this musical production. Please join us in celebrating her life through this music.

Due to the extension of Governor Brad Little’s stay-at-home order, our showroom will remain closed ‪through April 30th.‬ We will resume regular business hours ‪on‬‪ May 1.‬

However, under the modified order, we are now offering curbside service. Our curbside service will be by appointment only. To schedule a product pickup, or for any other inquiries, send us a DM or visit our website for additional contact information.

Online music lessons will also be available during this time. You can schedule a lesson with an instructor by visiting the “Lessons” page on our website.

In compliance with Governor Brad Little’s executive order to close all “non-essential” businesses, American Music USA will close our physical location until April 15, 2020.

We will continue to provide services that can be offered remotely such as Online Music Lessons, Rental Payments, Music Consultation Services, etc.

We will be monitoring voicemails, emails, social media, and text messaging to remain in contact with our customers. Please feel free to contact us for any questions or comments. We will resume regular business hours once the governor’s order is lifted. In the meantime, God bless, and let the music play!
