Hens are not laying enough for us to resume egg deliveries still but we've got a new batch of chicks and still holding out hope for these ladies to resume regular production! Stay tuned 😁

Moving the hens up to their new coop and outside area has been awful for egg production but SO wonderful for the hens! They are going through a molt and growing new feathers (which takes a ton of energy) and looking so healthy, the eggs we are getting have an incredibly deep color and flavor and the eggs are bigger. My girls are being pampered with higher protein feed and supplements, beautiful weather, bigger pasture and slowly but surely production is coming back. Can't wait to get back to providing eggs to you guys, and will let you know when we are ready! (Hopefully in another week or 2!) Thank you for you patience and support!

To our wonderful and loyal egg customers:
We upgraded our henny's to a bigger, warmer and brighter coop with larger outdoor space and new nesting boxes yahoooo.
There's only one problem, all the change has made them stop laying eggs! We appreciate your patience until we can resume egg deliveries once they are settled 😁

Currently we have about 80 birds and we will be ordering a few more chickies to add to the flock early next year. It still won't be enough to fulfill all the demand of which we are so grateful for but will get us a little closer!

The building pictured (Built by Bijou Structures Inc.) is half chicken coop and half she-shed for future bouquet making and seed starting for Bijou Blooms Flower Farm🤗

We have tons of plans for bringing more locally grown food and products for this awesome community in the coming years. We are focusing on regenerative farming practices to build our soil and feed our animals the most quality pasture we can and we've got a lot of work and learning to do to get there.

We are so grateful for your support!!!

Hello community, a good friend of ours has family (sister and brother in law) who lost everything in Helene. Their livelihood was their farm where they grew crops for their community. Everything is gone. For as long as I am able, I will be donating 50% of egg, honey and flower sales to this family. If you're looking for a way to help here's an option, I know there are thousands of people hurting and we just really want to help somehow.
