Don’t miss your chance to shine! If you are a student from ages 12 to 17 residing in Napa County, you are invited to audition for IDOL NV. Singers may choose any genre for their try out (as long as the lyrics are clean). This is a competition for solo artists only, though one or two backup musicians are allowed.

Ready to apply? Auditions will take place at Tonewood & Courage in Napa Jan. 7 & 8 in front of judges who work professionally in education and/or the arts including our own Executive Director, Kyle Clausen! There is no cost to apply and participate. Top-scoring applicants will then move to perform in front of a live audience at the semis on Jan. 18 at Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center. Judges will advance up to ten competitors to the finals, taking place Jan. 21. Applications are NOW OPEN!

¡No pierdas la oportunidad de brillar! Si eres un estudiante de 12 a 17 años que reside en el condado de Napa, estás invitado a una audición para IDOL NV. A look back in time at the original church at the intersection of Washington Street and Third Street in Calistoga. For more than 100 years, this site has been a community gathering place, and we aim to continue and expand on that tradition at Brannan Center for generations to come.

Architect Timothy Wilkes took care to preserve the original old growth redwood ceiling and window openings from what was previously the sanctuary for the Presbyterian Church. The juxtaposition of historic elements with state-of-the-art technology is one of the unique characteristics of Brannan aCenter as a venue for private and community events, performing arts, and more!

Here's a sneak peek into our Cellar Hall. Upon completion, this flexible space will boast cork flooring and state-of-the-art audio-visual equimpent for meetings, camps, classes, workshops and special events!

It is accessible from interior stairs, or from a paved pathway and an outdoor courtyard on the Washington Street side of the property.

Aquí hay un adelanto de nuestro Cellar Hall. Una vez finalizado, este espacio flexible contará con pisos de corcho y equipos audiovisuales de última generación para reuniones, campamentos, clases, talleres y eventos especiales.

Se puede acceder desde escaleras interiores o desde un camino pavimentado y un patio al aire libre en el lado de la propiedad de la calle Washington.

It’s ! Join us in welcoming Brannan Center to the Yountville Chamber of Commerce!

Currently under construction in Calistoga and set to open in Fall 2025, Brannan Center will be a vibrant, state-of-the-art community hub serving UpValley and beyond. Designed to be a welcoming space for all, the center will offer flexible spaces for meetings, classes, and workshops; a demonstration kitchen; two performance halls; and a beautiful outdoor terrace.

From hosting community gatherings and arts events to private celebrations like weddings and quinceañeras, Brannan Center will enrich our region with new programs focused on youth and performing arts. We can’t wait to see Brannan Center become a cornerstone for creativity, connection, and celebration in Napa Valley! 🌟💙

In Mexico, death rites date from pre-Hispanic rituals represented in murals, painted pottery, monuments, and artifacts, which shows how the Day of the Dead has its origins in the rituals practiced by the indigenous peoples of the Americas. Its precedents date to more than 3000 years ago when the Olmecs and subsequent Toltecs, Mixtecs, Zapotecs, Maya, and Aztecs honored death.

Those who passed are alive in our memories. A continuous echo that at certain occasions becomes louder. As the only answer to many of our questions, death is an integral part of life, and the living and the dead meet in this day to emphasize the importance of death in the cycle of life.

En México, los ritos de muerte datan de rituales prehispánicos representados en murales, cerámica pintada, monumentos y artefactos, lo que muestra cómo el Día de Mu***os tiene su origen en los rituales practicados por los pueblos indígenas de América. Sus precedentes se remontan a hace más de 3.000 años, cuando los olmecas y los posteriores toltecas, mixtecos, zapotecas, mayas y aztecas honraban la muerte.
