Happy Sunday! 🧡Finishing up a busy week with a beautiful micro wedding for Baylee & Jeremy on Wednesday & then an elopement on Friday and another one on Saturday! 🥳 Did you know that the first written use of blush as a color name in English was in 1590?!? I had no idea 🌸 No matter what the color of the year is, or what the newest trends are, we always get requests for a blush color palette. Pretty in Pink will always be a wedding staple. This time of year my social media posts are a little lacking because I'm just too busy!!!🧡😘😂 I may or may not have been out working in my cutting gardens at 9pm the other night just trying to get caught up on some weeding! 🌱 We are rolling through the elopements & micro weddings each week with lots of happiness & love 🌸 This family was no exception 🥰 Wait until I share the whole group! The kiddos were so adorable and everyone matched so perfectly! Way to go Mama! 😍 A huge congrats on your special day.

I'm not really big into posting about our personal life....but once in awhile is fun :) My birthday weekend 🤩 Especially when I've had a little down time to relax and unwind. I'm pretty much a go go go person when I'm at home working 12-14 hour days this time of year so spending a few nights away definitely lets me digress a bit & take some time to enjoy my happy place east of the mountains. My hubba & I actually met in Chelan so we purchased some property over there a couple of years ago and will more than likely retire over there at some point so it's always fun to visit and take a few photos to look back at as we progress on the property. (still waiting on the well - 🙄 ) We also love to travel so ANY excuse is a good one as far as I'm concerned...lol 😂🥳 He got me the cutest card for my birthday that is probably my favorite card to date & the only thing I really want each year. He really takes the time to pick out something special so it really means a lot. 🥰 Back to the grind now...lol....who am I kidding...I love being home and working outside to make everything as pretty as possible for all of our upcoming couples! The peonies are just about ready to start blooming so I'll be sharing some new photos of those soon! 🌞 Enjoy your week!

We've really needed these last few days of sun 🌞 & semi ;) warmth! We are working hard to get everything ready for our first micro wedding (elopement/add on dinner) of the year next week! Living in the PNW leads to a LOT of pressure washing to combat the moss & algae growth that we accumulate over the winter time! It's so satisfying to see everything clean & ready to party! 🥳

For those of you that don't know...I actually went to college for digital photography. I spent 3 years going to night classes while I worked full time! One the things I learned during my photography courses is how to print. I've had several large format printers and there's nothing like seeing your work in a gorgeous print 🧡Well I finally took the time to get some of our amazing couples up on the walls in the bridal suite 🥳

We still have snow, so no work is getting done outside this weekend which means time for dreaming/planning inside. 🌸🧡 I have a to-do list that is a mile long for each day of the week/month so not lacking in things to do inside. It's been quite awhile since we've done a styled shoot of our own and I've had SO many ideas mulling around in my head! So I'm super excited to finally share the first of my visions and start putting everything together! This shoot is going to be geared for our elopements! I love everything country including the music, Yellowstone, Country Dancing and the style, decor & colors. Think Western Inspired Boho - cowboy hats, cowboy boots, fringe, bolero etc. With that said I need a MODEL COUPLE. We have an amazing dress coming for the shoot!!! I'm hoping to have a couple so that we can have some amazing attire inspiration for our groom's as well!

Also, if we get the right couple we may even be able to do a free elopement package!?! Still trying to figure out if we can do this and still accomplish the shoot & everything while still offering a great experience to the couple 😍 Which is always my main goal 🧡 But one way or another you would still receive a wedding gallery with some gorgeous photos!

One of the most asked questions we get is "Who does your landscaping?" with references to my husband because of course the men do it right? 😘🤣 My answer is we do :) Or I do with some help from my husband. My husband says "it's all her" 💪😍 My favorite place to be is in the garden 🌸 My love for all things gardening has really been a life long journey. I used to love to garden & make things tidy even as a small girl. Some of my earlies memories are walking around with both of my grandmas looking at their flowers. When I bought my first home and it came with nothing planted is when I started researching & reading everything I could on gardening, planting, plants etc. Fast forward a LOT of years and here we are. We lived here for going on 13 years so it's been a work in progress for all of those years. Each year brings a few new things & plantings as it evolves & grows. Learning what works & what doesn't. Other the next few months I'll be working every day it doesn't rain outside to make everything as pretty as possible for our upcoming couples. I'll also be starting all of the seeds that go into growing for our cutting gardens! The greenhouse will be full of new life with thousand of little baby seeds. As everything else rests for awhile. I can't wait to share our little piece of heaven with you 🧡 Happy New Year

Yesterday was Winter Solstice (longest day of the year) & the 1st day of Winter. Hosting elopements over the past 8 years, has made me become in tuned to the daily sunsets, lighting & weather. Thankful for some dry weather this week so I can get some planting done! 20 peonies going into the ground which will bring us to about 160 or so? Hopefully, we'll be able to get our flower cooler built this year so we can have peonies throughout the summer for our elopement bouquets 🤗🧡👌
