Lighting tips for an outdoor event or wedding:

If your venue is outdoors, make sure your lights provide enough visibility for your guests and that they are fully charged (if they are solar). For weddings that would be held in a church, candles in glass holders would be the perfect lighting decoration to use. On the other hand, outdoor weddings are more suited for heavy string lights with industrial bulbs. Always make sure your lights won’t clash with your overall wedding theme to ensure a beautiful experience. Ambiance is key when it comes to setting up lights for a wedding, and that’s why we’re here to help you make the perfect choice for your special event or wedding day.

This week we’ve shared scrumptious Thanksgiving recipes and time saving tricks to our stories. After years of navigating Thanksgiving dinner, we've picked up a few sanity-saving secrets. To wrap up our series here’s a few last minute tips:

1. Set the table the night before. (It's a simple task, but it's one thing you can cross off of your to-do list on the day of.)

2. Empty all trash cans and dishwasher the night before. Trust us.

3. Prepare as many dishes as possible in advance. (Gravy bases can be frozen and vegetables can be cooked and refrigerated for up to two days.)

4. Use square and rectangular pans (you can fit more dishes in the oven that way).

5. When in doubt, ask guests to bring ice. (You can never have enough. And when the refrigerator is full of highly perishable foods, ice buckets are a great way to keep drinks cold.)
