Come to Constitution Park at 7 pm for an entertaining night of multicultural dance and songs celebrating the Christmas season. ADMISSION IS FREE!

Remember to bundle up for chilly weather and bring blankets and chairs to sit on.
Canned goods will be collected to donate to Food Share Ventura County to help feed members of our community in need.

Nartan Dance School offers lessons in Indian Dance to women ages 3 to 65. Teaching Indian values, cultures, and stories through dances, Nartan Dance School (Nrutya Mandir) in Camarillo has been blessed with students from diverse cultural and racial backgrounds. Baha’i, Jews, Hindu, Sikh, Catholic, and Islamic students take dance lessons and share their own traditions and celebrate Indian traditions with us. Our students enjoy learning surprising similarities and differences between many cultures we all come from and cherish them with an open heart as we dance together. Founded in 2018 by Amelia O’Shaughnessy in Agoura Hills, California, the O’Shaughnessy Academy of Irish Dance provides a supportive and encouraging atmosphere in which students work to their highest potential as a competitive Irish dancer. Trina Manders is a professional violinist, music teacher, and mom of 4 kids. She received her BA in Music with a concentration in violin performance from UCLA, and teaches group and private violin lessons through her private studio, Tatsu Strings.

Angela Montgomery Timmons is a longtime resident of Ventura County. She is licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Science as a Clinical Social Worker, with over 40 years in the field. Music has been a constant in her upbringing and she continues to share this gift with many faith-based institutions in the Ventura County area. She is the proud daughter of Bennie C. Montgomery and Pearl D. Montgomery who served in civic and religious organizations in this area. Angela has two adult children and is married to Rev. Alan Timmons.

Performing at Camarillo’s Annual Christmas Concert in the Park: The Nativity on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at 7 pm in Constitution Park: Grupo Folklórico Fusión Mexicana

Grupo Folklórico Fusión Mexicana (GFFM) is a Mexican folkloric group founded by Carlos Mendez & Adrian Castellón Robles as a fusion of multiple groups across Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Los Angeles counties. Since its establishment in 2016, GFFM has traveled around the world to present different regions across México. Our current directors are Adrian Castellón Robles and Dafne Aguilar who bring their own dance knowledge to continue to pass it down to new generations. GFFM aims to generate motivation for an active lifestyle within the community, facilitate cultural awareness, familiarize the community and younger generations about Mexican culture, and make a positive difference anywhere we go.

The CUMC Young Adult Bells

Camarillo United Methodist Church (CUMC) Young Adult Bells, under the direction of Kristi VanKeersbilck, are talented musicians in 9th grade through college.

Many of them have been ringing bells at CUMC since they were 4-5 years old! The Young Adult Bells are an advanced choir who enjoy challenging themselves by learning and performing many different styles of music and utilizing many fun and creative bell effects.

We are happy to be able to share the joy of music, especially during this Christmas season.

Announcing Camarillo’s Annual Christmas Concert in the Park: The Nativity! Sunday, December 10, 2023 at 7 pm in Constitution Park.

This year’s one-hour interfaith concert will feature NEW soloists and dance groups, in addition to performers from prior years. It is excellent every year, and admission is free!

Bring your blankets and chairs to enjoy this beautiful program and share in the Christmas spirit!

Tomorrow is the BIG day! We’re so grateful the rain is forecasted to clear up by tomorrow morning. Come early to save your spot and take a picture with the live nativity 5-6:45pm. Concert begins at 7pm. Bring your friends and neighbors.
