Here at Coventry Gardens we have a wonderful selection of British teas and treats! Today we wanted to showcase our tasty Taylors Tea.
Did you know that Taylors of Harrogate was born in Yorkshire in 1886. Founded by Charles Taylor, it was a family business then, and it still is today. Taylors have three unique brands, offering a wide range of black, green and fruit and herbal varieties, the Taylors Coffee, famous for its high grade in quality, and the UK’s favorite black tea, Yorkshire Tea.

Here at Coventry Gardens we have a wonderful selection of British teas and treats! Today we wanted to share our Folkington Drinks and Grandma Wild's Biscuits with you.
Did you know that at Folkington, none of their core ingredients are ever over-processed in a factory. They are just pressed, squeezed or distilled soon after they’ve been picked from a local British farm.
And did you know that for Grandma Wild's, the original Wild's Bakery was established in 1899 in the Victorian seaside resort of Morecambe, Lancashire. Annie Wild ran the bakery shop and boarding house (today's bed and breakfast) whilst being a full-time mother to three boys.

Here at Coventry Gardens we have a wonderful selection of British teas and treats! Today we wanted to highlight our Tiptree jams and Eccles Cakes.
Did you know that the Tiptree brand has been around since the early 1700s, and that Eccles Cakes are named after the town of Eccles in Northwest England, in the Manchester county. In 2008 in England, the Salford Food and Drink Festival saw the world's largest Eccles Cake ever made. It weighed in at 123 pounds 14 ounces!

Here at Coventry Gardens we have a wonderful selection of British teas and treats! Today we wanted to showcase our exquisite Darvilles teas.
Did you know that Darvilles of Windsor has specialized in grocery trade and tea blending since 1860. The company is now run by the fourth and fifth generation of the Darville family, Peter Darville and his daughter Karen, and is the oldest family business in Windsor.
Reminds us a bit of our own business. Coventry Gardens is family owned and in its second generation!

Here at Coventry Gardens we have a wonderful selection of British teas and treats! Today we wanted to highlight our custard cream biscuit sandwiches.
Did you know that in 2007, a poll of 7,000 Britons found that 90% of them considered custard creams their favorite biscuit, and in 2009, they were also ranked the eighth most popular biscuit to dunk in tea.

Did you know that Wine Gums were first created by Charles Gordon Maynard, and that he had to convince his father that the snack did indeed not contain wine. Wine Gums are also a fan favorite here at Coventry Gardens. They are just so good!
When it comes to Smarties, did you know that the UK is the only country to have an orange flavored Smarties, and that there is a special tank in the factory where the orange one is created.

And the Galaxy Ripple just celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2019!
