TL;DR - Musings on 4 years of DJing and teasing some new projects.

2024 marked 4 years of DJing as DJ Sprenk.

This past year, I performed 42 live sets at 14 events across 7 states, ranging from intimate house parties to huge festivals that I only ever dreamed of playing at.

( Yes, I do play at events of all sizes, styles, and locations so hit me up if you think you'd like some Sprenk at your next event 😉. )

It was also a year of experimentation. I created a Patreon ( patreon.com/djsprenk ), a Soundcloud ( soundcloud.com/djsprenk ), and experimented with new music genres and ways of sharing sets and knowledge online. Some experiments landed, others didn't, but all were meant to push the envelope and see what you all responded to.

Among these experiments, I'm close to releasing a project to provide new ways of finding your next favorite Sprenk set, so stay tuned for an announcement shortly!

Finally, it was a year of sharing and collaboration. I got the opportunity (through private lessons, sharing DJ stages, and casual conversations) to learn from inspiring artists, co-produce back-to-back mixes, and share insights with some of the next generation of DJ talent.

In 2025 I hope to continue these trends of experimentation and sharing, fully embracing my inner mad-scientist.
