I’m still swooning about the event this past week ! The food by was excellent as usual the florals by were beautiful, and the seaport setting could not have been more perfectly summer! Most importantly for me was being able to spend time with colleagues (and friends) I have worked with for up to 15 years on dozens of wonderful weddings. It was truly heartwarming to be with them all together for an evening!

It’s not just wedding season, engagement parties are in full swing as well! Honored to be part of this special couples’ lives for three years & so we’re throwing it back to their epic summer engagement party at .
Guests dined on an incredible menu by chef Mario Carbone and were treated to a gorgeous floral initialed cake by . The takeover of Contessa would not have been complete without the exquisite floral design by and per usual, photography queen Connie Miller who captured the happy couple. My “work baby” was born in 2006. Soon after, I had the most amazing college age intern named Lindsay. From there, I had equally extraordinary assistants Hannah, and Kelly and then Alyssa, Liz, Cassie and others. Fast forward 18 years, and aside from feeling so grateful to a small army of fierce women for their help over the years, I’m incredibly proud of all of their personal and professional accomplishments, owning their own businesses, starting their careers, getting married, having children (including today!) and growing into confident, poised women who are now the age I was when I started Stone Event Planning. I’m so lucky to have them in my world. ❤️❤️❤️

Every year around this time, I think back to this iconic wedding. And as my assistants know, one of the few weddings that I burst into tears upon seeing the Shapiro Courtyard set . These images still take my breath away. Happy early anniversary to my dear clients!

One of the many things we loved about planning this wedding was the trust that our bride and groom had for their vendors. They gave us an idea of what they wanted and in this case, welcome party number one should have a SoCal vibe with muted earth tones. With precision, creativity, professionalism and effective communication, I worked with , , and , and we made their ideas come to life in a romantic and dramatic setting overlooking the Pacific Ocean. If a wedding was an Olympic event this one would qualify! This epic wedding weekend was three years in the making and required dozens of wedding industry experts on both the East and West coasts to make it happen. Not only am I personally grateful for their hard work, but I’m also infinitely grateful to my loving, happy, easy clients, Hannah and CJ who are finally married 💍 It’s an understatement to say that they made wedding planning fun from start to finish!

What a glorious way to usher in the first day of Fall 🍂 Molly and Ryan celebrated their long-awaited nuptials in high style at the Boston Public Library last Saturday!

Soul City Band rocked the house, but not before guests were treated to a sumptuous meal under the glowing “sky” in Bates Hall. The jewel-toned palette made the florals and tabletop glisten and the dynamic uplighting from Suzanne B Lowell Lighting Design transformed this historic venue, making it the perfect backdrop to celebrate all night long ✨ Thank you to all the hard-working experts made it all happen, including The Catered Affair, New Leaf flores, Peak Event Services, Albertine Press, Catherine Bent, Maryelle Artistry, Lisa Rigby Photography, LoveLocked Films, Lavoile, The Newbury Boston, LUX BOX company, inc., and Firework Photo Booth Co 🙏🏼

What a picture-perfect day The Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston for the wedding of Christine and Howard! Sleek, sophisticated, and modern was the style of this blockbuster wedding. A one-of-a-kind surprise for the groom was the gospel choir at the end of the ceremony followed by an amazing dinner by The Catered Affair all situated in a gorgeous floral oasis by New Leaf flores. It was an amazing night and the couple was so happy, just as we want our couples to be on their wedding day! Yesterday's wedding wasn't dampened by the rain; it was still exquisite! This special couple took the weather in stride and had such a wonderful time celebrating their marriage with their guests at the Harvard Art Museums. The sophisticated palette of peach, gold, ivory and antique rose against the backdrop of the Italian-styled piazza of the Calderwood Courtyard was just gorgeous. Guests were able to enjoy a sumptuous meal after walking through the art galleries, surrounded by stunning views of priceless masterpieces. Flashback to this stunner last Summer! A really wonderful example of classic white and green florals, our kind, lovely, and beautiful couple Sarita and Samson finally got to celebrate their wedding with friends and family at the after years of planning. The ballroom was truly transformed with exquisite florals and lighting, guests were treated to a sumptuous meal and danced the night away, ringing in the couple's one year anniversary at midnight with champagne and doughnuts!
