We have to make space in our fryers for sufganiyot as the holiday season approaches (yay!) but this means that our latkes will be in contact with wheat & gluten for the next month (boo). To help you out, there are signs reminding you to tell the folks behind the register if you are gluten-free!

Sufganiyot are our favorite Hannukah treat! On the weekends from now 'til Hanukkah, we're offering small batches of these delicious raspberry jam donuts at Mamaleh's in Brookline or Cambridge!
You can also preorder rapsberry jam or chocolate cream candy cane sufganiyot for Hanukkah via our website. If you're looking for a whole bunch of 'em, we've even got minis available for catering orders!

Roll up your sweater sleeves, we're getting crafty! On Saturday December 21st from 3-6pm, get in the holiday spirit at our cozy Chrismakkuh party! Spend an afternoon with friends or family making ornaments and decorating cookies. All that hard work will make you hungry, so we'll also have a spread of our favorite holiday nosh! (Latke bar, anyone?) Best of all, there's a chance to win a gift basket if you wear your favorite ugly sweater! How It's Made: Bialys! 🧅
What exactly is a bialy? You might know they're located near the bagels in our retail freezers, but not much beyond that. Bialys are savory bread rolls originating from a city in Poland called Bialystok. Imagine that, a whole city named after bialys! (just kidding). They're similar in appearance to bagels, but instead of a hole, each bialy has a little dimple that gets a scoop of onion filling. We like to sprinkle ours with poppy seeds too. Bialys are spritzed with water once they're in the hot oven to create a steamy baking environment, and then the magic happens! Since bialys aren't boiled before baking like bagels, they're slightly lighter and fluffier in texture. Try one sliced with some cream cheese or use it like a sandwich roll with some deli meat! - Audience members fill out a form with questions like where are you from? who are you friends with? what is your synagogue?
- Contestants have 7 minutes to try to find the CHOSEN ONE within the audience. They do that by asking questions, making connections, and having lots of laughs.
- Along the way, you’ll here favorite stories of connection and get to mingle with friends new and old.

Tickets include a seat in the live audience, snacks, onen drink (with more available for purchase) and a whole lotta fun.
