Fourth of July Canadohta Big Bang Celebration is here, July 4th thru July 6. We invite you to bring your family and friends to Pennsylvania’s 2nd largest Natural lake, conviently located off of Route 8 in Crawford County between Union City and Titusville. This gem of a resort offers boating, ice cream stands, mini golf courses, restaurants, fishing and just good ole family fun, Come check us out . YARD SALES

When: JULY 4, 2019 08:00am - Jul 07 2019 05:00pm

Where: Bargains Galore all around the Lake & Bloomfield Township. Take your time to zig-zag all around the area to find all the treasures you can't live without!



4TH OF JULY

When: Thursday Jul 04 2019 10:00am -

Where: A traditional Fourth with Boating, Family Picnic, swimming , etc. All our businesses are open each and every day all summer, so you can enjoy great food, beverages, snacks and souvenirs while bringing your family and making memories this Fourth.



FIRECRACKER 5K & 10K RUN/WALK

When: Saturday July 6, 2019 9 AM sharp

Where: Starts and ends at the Canadohta Roller Rink 36046 Lake Rd, Union City, PA 16438.

This will be the 4th annual Canadohta Lake Firecracker 5k & 10k race. The course will be the same as last year. 5k runners will do one loop and 10k runners will do two loops.

Then the cost will be $20 on race day. If you would like a T shirt the cost is $15

BIKE, GOLF CART & PET PARADE

When: Saturday July 6th 2019 12 NOON Elmwood Beach(Free Beach)

Where: .Registration starts at 11 am and the parade starts at noon. Starting at Elmwood beach and ending at the Frog Pond. This event is sponsored by the Bloomfield Twp. Recreation Board and CLABA.

Come decorate your bike or cart in patriotic décor. Bring your dog or cat and follow along with your neighbos in the pet parade. All pets must be on a leash.

Each is separate but run all together. The Bikes, the golf carts, then the Pets. Golf carts must be driven by responsible adult. All Pets must be contained on a leash or harness or a a kennel, have current vaccinations and be with a responsible owner



BOAT PARADE

When:Saturday July 6 2019 3pm

Where: Middle of the Lake

Theme is Music thru the decades. Canadohta Lakes Favorite Musician Dana Williams will lead the parade around the lake, as this year's grand marshalls. Prizes for best boats. We meet at middle of lake and go close to shore line for at least four rounds. The judges boat will be clearly identified.



FIREWORKS

When: Saturday Jul 06 2019 10:00pm -

Where: over the Lake (rain date is Sunday July 7th)

On Saturday July 6th , 2019 the skies over Canadohta Lake and beyond will light up around ten o'clock in the evening with our annual Fireworks display. Hailed by many as a wonderful spectacle that lasts over twenty-five minutes, this one display you don't want to miss.



We especially thank the John Stranahan family, who has graciously hosted the display from their farm which overlooks the Lake on the West Side. Our local community members generously help out with donations to assure we have an great celebration. You can see the display from many miles around .



Gather up your family and friends and get ready for a great time. Take this opportunity to visit us early in the day and enjoy our great hospitality at our many businesses, that want to welcome you to our Canadohta Lake area. From ice cream stands and quick foods to our restaurants and boat rentals we have a lot to offer. Should the weather be inclement and unsafe for our pyrotechnics crew , we will announce on Facebook the Rain Date. That will be the only communication that we can provide. Happy Fourth of July.

Soon this print will be availlable at the lake. Claba commisioned local artist Leslie Blake to do this for us. We made prints. We just found a limited quanity of numbered signed. We still have to do an inventory and a few other things to these. Including price. This bad photo. I took it. Better one coming. Just gave as a wedding gift. It called summer on the lake and was commisioned in the late 1990. Very nice size is around 11x17.
