I had the pleasure of creating the florals for and .kennypan wedding. Elegant, romantic and completely gorgeous! The devil is in the details and each detail was carefully executed by all involved—an absolutely beautiful day 🫶

OKAY BABES!

This is the final call for our 4-week Dahlia CSA subscriptions! This is week 1️⃣ for our big bundles of dahlias — with a few other favorites peppered in!

Our Geneva shares are closed, but there are still a few days to secure 4 weeks of gorgeous dahlias for pickup at either the Fairport Farmers Market (Saturdays from 7am-12) or in Canandaigua (Sunday mornings from 9 am- 12)!

On average these bouquets would retail for $50 (at least!) each— by securing your CSA share you help us out as farmers AND you get 4 weeks of beautiful blooms averaging out to $23 per bouquet.

Ahhh…dahlias. Gorgeous, fleeting beauties that hit their stride as summer shifts to autumn. I walk through the dahlia rows each year thinking to myself “…not here for a long time, but here for a good time”.

Enjoy them while they’re here! September 1st marks week 1️⃣of our 4-week Dahlia Share. And we’re proud to offer our third pickup location in Canandaigua!

This pickup is available on Sunday mornings until noon and gives you the opportunity to grab a big bundle of dahlias AND be some of the first to welcome to the neighborhood. When you’re a maniac and spend months and months looking for the *perfect footed urn for a wedding and finally find one and they’re delivered in 3 days. ☺️

* perfect = right shape and size, exact blend of classic (but not Greco-Roman-ish) and modern, but still elegant, the correct finish of ‘white’ (not shiny or glossy, but also not unfinished stoneware), ceramic and not a plastic look-alike (no shade, just didn’t want that for this event), and at a reasonable price point (I’m looking for quantity, people!).

Could not have had a more fun, exuberant color palette for this joyous occasion if we tried!

Lauren knew from the beginning that she wanted ALL the colors- bright, eye-catching and expressive! The bride knew she also wanted the only all-white item to be her bridal bouquet to offset her dress.

And look at that dress 😍

We love a good vision and had so much fun bringing it to life for Lauren and Jimmy’s big day.

It’s the very end of July, friends. The summer is flying by. I’ve heard it echoed countless times already this year: “where has the summer gone?”

There is still time to slow down and soak it in.

We, too, are hitting pause for the next few days. Our little family is taking some time to slow down, play in the water, go camping and be together.

You won’t see us at the Fairport Farmers market this Saturday morning, but we’ll be back on the 10th.

There is a fresh drop of chunky* bouquets right now to get you through this week and give you a few moments of your own pause.

*We hate waste of any kind, certainly of flowers. No Saturday market means we squeezed a whole bunch of blooms into these bouquets. Enjoy! 🫶

They’re heeeeeerrrreeee!

Well, they’ve begun, anyway—and they’ll be cranking shortly. We love dahlias. There’s just no other way to say it. I feel as if I have no say in the matter, they’re mesmerizing.

The most vibrant blue/purple Veronica! This variety is too short for bouquets but is perfect for small vases. They’ll be in our jar arrangements tomorrow

Wednesday evening harvest.

The perennials we planted last year and the year before are coming into their own with Penstemon and Lady’s Mantle leading the way. Our Echinacea isn’t too far behind either.

The first little bunch of field snapdragons has me really excited for these beds this year, and of course foxgloves popping in to remind us that fairies are real and sleep inside these lil flowers. 🧚‍♂️🧚‍♀️🧚

Peony season is so short and sweet—and even shorter this year. We’ve tucked some away for weddings this month, but the rest have come and gone in record time.

(But also I needed more so we bought 325 more peony plants so we’ll have buckets more in a couple years 😏)

Foxglove appreciation post!

I love me a good spike flower, and there’s something extra fairy-like about foxgloves. Maybe it’s the little bells that look like they’d be perfect to curl up inside of. Or maybe it’s how soft- like suede- their stems are.

Or maybe it’s that (like all my favorite flowers) they’re toxic ☠️😈😱
