Jenna was our most recent bride, and she and her husband, Jacob, absolutely stole our hearts. As did their families.
Sometimes the tricky part of wedding weekends are actually the meshing of many different personality types and it sometimes is a little stressful on everyone involved, but from the moment we met Jenna and Jacob and his parents, when they came to tour, we just truly felt like we were talking to old friends. It was just effortless.

Jenna’s mother custom made her dress, and it was absolute perfection. Jenna is a beautiful combination of elegant, fun loving, creative and slightly reserved with a twinkle in her eyes that lets you know that she’s gonna let her silliness fly free soon, all wrapped in a stunning, petite, modelesque outer package. Our friends did the hair and makeup of the bride and her bridal party and it was perfection.

I didn’t get to spend as much time with Jacob but the dynamic between he, his groomsmen, his family and he and Jenna kept me smiling.
Jacob and his groomsmen paired matching Nike sneakers with their tuxes and it was awesome!

Jenna thrifted a lot of her decor and brought it all to life with her beautiful floral arrangements from . Lots of candles in bronzed candleholders helped set the mood. It was windy so we had to get creative to keep things from blowing away but Magye stayed to ensure everything was exactly as envisioned and it all went flawlessly.

catered the reception and also made the lovely cake, and we are always giddy to know that we get to work with them because they are the best of the best.

kept the party going late into the night. It was our first time working with them and DJ Tony was so great to keep everyone dancing. We can’t wait to have them back.

Paige, kept everything moving forward and the day went off with only a couple of quickly remedied hitches.
Those “hitches” will be funny stories to tell to their grandchildren one day 😂

Yesterday was nothing short of beautiful. From the details, to the wedding party, to the weather, and the venue…. how I so enjoyed photographing this beautiful Asheville wedding🤍
Erin and Joey are from Florida and decided to have an NC mountain destination wedding with around 35 friends and family celebrating with them. Erin and Joey are beyond precious and their love for each other was evident the entire day. I’m so grateful to have been able to capture this love story on the first day of FALL!

I get to work with some insanely talented people in the wedding industry. A lot of them are my really good friends.
I met a few years ago when my daughter was modeling for her and instantly adored her.
Then I saw her talent and vision with her fashion designs. Her wedding gowns are absolutely jaw dropping. Beautiful doesn’t begin to describe them.

Angela and I are collaborating on a styled shoot October 23rd, and she is custom designing this dress for me. Obviously this is just the fitting and the dress isn’t complete (that top won’t be sheer;) but I am absolutely blown away already. And yes, even being that fitted, the dress allows me to move well.

We are looking for collaborative vendors for this photoshoot and will be submitting for publication so give me a shout if you would like to join in. This is going to be amazing.

Hey y’all! Our cute honor stand has been up and going for about a week and a half and it’s been such a sweet little addition to the farm. The guests and equine lesson program students and families have us sold out every day.

We have an Instagram page, to let everyone know know the offerings at the stand, to share recipes and helpful tips and to showcase our critters of the week. I’ll also share to my Facebook story.

The Dusty Corner is named after the most special horse that ever was, Dusty, aka Dust on the Bottle. He was my daughters horse who became the farm favorite. He was equally comfortable galloping on beaches or carrying two year olds on his back. Dusty was a beautiful soul and as big as he was, he made everyone who got near him feel comfortable.
He passed last year after a lovely life of lots of love at Canaan Valley and we miss him so much.

Fly high, Dusty. We will keep your memory alive.

This week, we will have organic/pastured/soy free eggs, baked goods, homemade fruit leather, local honey, and we will hopefully have our tea blends finished to put out. There are stickers for kids, coloring books coming soon, and some freebies that will be put out periodically. We hope to see you on the farm!

Say hi to Indy and Pixie! The newest lesson horses here !
The staff offers various options for rides and interaction with the horses, ponies and donkey, but it’s a good idea to book ahead of time. Often families try to book the day before and while we always try to accommodate, there are lesson programs and other guests to work around so book early to ensure your spot!

😂 We have a shuttle/party bus business also. Mostly we use it for weddings during the season but off season, we run for the general public. And this group of women booked 2 different nights with us. They are an absolute hoot!
They put the biggest smiles on our faces!
