Happy Holidays. And Happy Friday, the 13th! Whether you've been naughty or nice this holiday season, we've got you covered with two great films with both merriment and mischief! Kids, both young and old will love the classic Disney, Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas at 6:30pm, then, once the kids are nestled, all snug in their beds, Krampus is coming to town at 9:00pm (this spooky cult classic is recommended for the 17+ crowd. Anyone younger will need adult supervision). We hope to see you tonight at the Theater!

Music, Movies, Magic and More! We've got a great lineup coming up, and there's nothing like a night out at the theater for a holiday gift idea! Tickets are on sale for our Friday, the 13th Holiday movie night, featuring Disney, Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas and Krampus. Then, catch a great night of holiday music on Saturday with Canton Concert Band. Aaron Radatz Magical Entertainer is back once again for his amazing holiday magic show on December 23, followed by The Detroit Circus on New Year's Eve! 2025 comes in with a bang with Magic Person Staring Nick Paul on January 10, followed by Teddy Petty - Tom Petty Tribute Band! on January 11. Then, in March we welcome back The Celts on March 1 and Steven Page on March 28

Experience the magic of the season when Christmas in the Village returns to the Village Arts Factory with new additions and even more holiday cheer this Saturday, December 7, from 3 to 8 p.m. Presented by Greenland Market and Saj Bakery, this family-friendly event will transform the Village Arts Factory, located at 50755 Cherry Hill Road, into a winter wonderland, featuring: a tree lighting ceremony, a live petting zoo attraction, caroling musicians, free kids’ craft activities, cookie decorating, and a bustling Old-World Christmas Market featuring over 25 artisan vendors with unique merchandise for all your gift-giving needs.

Canton’s Annual Winter Wonderland Walk is taking place this Thursday, December 5 from 5-8 p.m. in Heritage Park! Turkey Trot participants, pre-event shirt and bib pick-up is available this Thursday, November 21 at Kickers Sports Bar & Grill, 46555 Michigan Avenue, during a special “Dine for Dollars” event to benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan. This event will run from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and will include half-off pizzas and other great specials that are available for dine-in or carryout. Additional pick-up times are listed below:

Thank you to everyone who attended and participated in Canton's Salute to Service celebration yesterday at The Village Theater at Cherry Hill, including: Canton Township Supervisor Anne Marie Graham-Hudak, Trustee Kate Borninski, keynote speaker Gary Tanner, and military memorabilia exhibitors Julio Cervantes, the family of Tom Houdek, Joseph Tebor, Cheryl Vatcher-Martin, as well as the Tribute Rosies from the Michigan Flight Museum. Many thanks to those who also helped support the VA Ann Arbor Health System's donation drive, which will continue through November 24 at The Village Theater at Cherry Hill. Thank you to ALL the veterans who took the time out of their day to let us show our appreciation for you! We thank all those who have served and continue to serve our country. We are forever grateful for your sacrifice and service!

Join us as Canton once again honors area service men and service women who have served or who are currently serving in the Armed Forces. The Veteran's Day Salute to Service event will be held at the Village Theater on Monday, November 11th with a 6pm Reception and a 7pm Stage Presentation.
This year's stage presentation includes featured speaker Mr. Gary Tanner, chairman of the Michigan Wounded and Returning Warrior program and a musical tribute by Keri Mueller. Tables hosted by local veterans and military families featuring personal memorabilia from World War II, the Vietnam War and Desert Storm will be on display in the lobby starting at 6pm. The Michigan Flight Museum and the Tribute Rosies will also be on site during the event to honor our veterans.
Donations for the VA Ann Arbor Health System, benefitting local veterans will be accepted during the event and throughout the week at the Village Theater. Canton Township invites area residents to pay tribute to past and present service men and women during its annual Salute to Service event on Monday, November 11, 2024. This free event will feature a 6 p.m. reception, followed by a 7 p.m. main stage program at The Village Theater at Cherry Hill, located at 50400 Cherry Hill Road, Canton, MI.

Canton will again honor area service men and women who have served or are currently serving in the Armed Forces. This special event will also feature memorabilia displays presented in the vestibule of The Village Theater, followed by the program that will take place on the theater’s Mainstage.

“Canton’s Village Theater is proud to be the host site for this annual event honoring our area’s service men and women, and their families,” said Ben Frick, Performing Arts Coordinator. “Every year, this special tribute brings together the community for a night of celebration and appreciation of those who have put themselves in harm’s way in order to protect our country.”

Donations for the VA Ann Arbor Health System will be accepted during the event. Suggested donations include winter hats, gloves, coats, T-Shirts, and underwear in various sizes. Additionally requested items may be found at https://shorturl.at/03I9E. Donations may also be dropped off at the Village Theater through November 24 during regular Box Office hours. The public is encouraged to attend this free event – no tickets are required for this general admission event and all ages are welcome to attend.

30th Annual Canton Fine Arts Exhibition

This is the final week to see the 30th Annual Canton Fine Arts Exhibition and cast your vote for this year's People's Choice Award. The juried exhibition is on display now through October 26, 2024, bringing together the works of some of the best artists throughout southeast Michigan. The exhibit features a variety of media, including: oil, acrylic, pastels, inks, pencil, colored pencil, photography, mixed media, and more. The Gallery is open Tuesday & Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Thursday & Friday from 4-8 p.m.; during public performances at the theater; and by appointment by calling 734/394-5374.
