One of the most rewarding aspects of wedding planning is seeing my couple’s vision come to life.

From our initial meeting, L&J knew they wanted their wedding to feel like a whimsical garden wedding at a French Chateau.

Collaborating with an exceptional team of vendors, we brought their dream to life with light pink florals, romantic portraits, and a whimsical floral backdrop. It was a day as beautiful and enchanting as their love story.

Take a quick pause from wedding content to share my baby shower from early June! I had so much fun putting this baby in bloom design together to celebrate baby girl who is arriving in August 💕 It was important to me to have activities for guest to enjoy throughout the afternoon, so I took inspiration from the lovely to have a baby friendship bracelet station and a flower bar for mini bouquet creation! Thank you to the amazing vendors who helped bring this day to life!

There is no better day than a Tuesday to finally post your face to your business page! For those who don’t know me, I’m Jen - Owner and Lead Planner of Sunday Social Events! So how did I end up here you ask!?

I graduate from Cornell University and fell into the corporate world working for the largest Human Resource consulting firm in the world. My work was client/project based which I loved, but hated the cubical life! I was an energetic person, loved being on my feet and helping others achieve their goals and dreams, which is why I moved into the fitness industry!

I coached group fitness classes for 5 years and absolutely loved every second of it - except I started to miss the mental challenges of working amongst a team, problem solving, being creative, etc etc etc.

Luckily, I got engaged in 2020 to my now husband, Jordan and tackled the wedding planning world. It was a blessing and a curse all at once - PS I do NOT recommend planning your own wedding… all I can say is stressful! But I did it, loved it, and wanted to do it over and over and over again.

After a BIG kick in the *** from one of my close friends, I started Sunday Social Events and have never looked back. Not only have I had the pleasure of working with amazing couples and families, but I finally found my little corner of the world. The one where I get to manage projects and see them come to life, I get to be creative and logical at the same time, I’m challenged to think on my feet, and best of all, I get to be my own boss!

In Provincetown on a “workcation”, thinking back to N&T’s Cape Cod Wedding. Their wedding invitation suite featured a custom envelope liner of Cape Cod; focused on Falmouth, the area their love grew and their marriage was sealed. It’s all about the ✨details✨

When the bouquet speaks louder than words. made sure this beauty was not only dance proof, but the perfect statement piece for L&J’s beautiful June wedding at Mirbeau Inn & Spa. Our stunning bride did such a lovely job planning the details of her day based on her vision of a whimsical garden wedding at a French Chateau, minus the France part 😝 From the venue selection to the gown to the florals, each piece was perfectly curated 🥂
