So normally I only post professional photos & videos, but today is going to be an exception. The past few days have been a whirlwind, Today was exactly what all of us needed. We shared dance parties, joy, creativity, hard work, & flexibility. Thank you to all of these amazing people who came together for 2 drop dead gorgeous styled shoots after learning we'd have to cancel our boutique wedding show that was supposed to be held at my office today. This #weddingwednesday I’d like to share a proposal story that is very close to our hearts. Last Saturday, my brother took his girlfriend to an improv show at iO Chicago where they had their very first date.

Midway through the show they invited Kelsey & Justin up on stage to be interviewed during segment that they call “the dream”. The big spoon improv group asked Kelsey & Justin several questions about their relationship. They then asked them to sit down as they re-enacted Justin and Kelsey’s relationship.

And then, all of the sudden they started to reenact Justin at Kelsey’s parents house asking for her hand in marriage as well as him thinking through the proposal planning process. The end of this segment concluded with “maybe, I’ll propose on Saturday, December 2nd at IO theater”.

As you can imagine, there’s not a dry eye in the audience as Justin leads Kelsey to the stage, professes his love for her (for the first time!!) and gets down on one knee. Just as Kelsey enthusiastically says yes, the lights come on to reveal that the theater was entirely filled with their family & friends! Now that is what you call the Ultimate Improv Show. 😭💞🍾💍
