Guess what's happening at the Massillon Lowes? That's right, Sandy Claus is comin' to town! "Who's Sandy Claus?" you might say, well, Sandy is Santa's cousin who takes care of all the ships at sea so Santa has more time for land deliveries. Sandy will be at the Massillon Lowes on December 16th from 10am to 1pm with a couple of friendly elves from the pirate ship "Rudolph". There will be cookies and hot cocoa, a kids workshop and story time with Sandy as he reads off "A Pirate's Night Before Christmas". Lots of good stuff going on so bring the kids down to get pictures with Sandy and get on the nice list!

Another arrrsome pirate event for Stark County Libraries is "in the books"! Monday evening, a few of us showed up to teach the kiddos (and their parents) some pirate speak. It also turns out that we now have some groupies 🤣❤️
Aside from learning to Talk Like a Pirate, they also made their own working compasses, had some coloring pages, learned about several navigational items and one lucky lass even got to properly dress as a pirate!
Cheers for the library letting us partner with them once again to educate and entertain our community youth!

Cap'n Blade took MermaidTrinity 🧜‍♀️ to surprise the kids at Stark Library yesterday! It was a FIN-tastic time! There was even a little boy who's initials gave him the pirate name of "RUSTY CUTLASS"!! So perfect!
Thank you Stark Library for letting us partner with you again to provide arrsome summer activities for the kids!

Cap'n Blade and Quartermaster Trinity were spotted on shore leave again. This time it was the Jackson Branch library and we helped children build boats, go on treasure hunts, design their own Jolly Rogers, talk like pirates, and play in sensory bins. There was even a contest to see who wore the Captain's Coat best!! It were an arrrsome day, to be sure!

Just back from a great event for the Summer Kickoff for the Stark County Library - DeHoff Branch! There were almost 40 children and everyone had so much fun! Thank you to Kourtney and everyone at DeHoff for such a great night!

So the crew was out last night helping out at a haunt for the Tadmor Shriners. Here be a few shots that were taken by crew member Red DeBord at the Tadmor's Haunt for Kids.
We all had a great time and the Shriners and guests were fantastic. If ye wants to have a good time hay ride style with ghouls and spookies, head on over to the shrine and bring the kiddos, it's family fun for all.

That's one more Library event in the books (y'arrr, did ye see what I did thar?!) 😉 46 kiddos learned some pirate facts, heard some jokes, listened to a pirate story, made spyglasses and went on a Treasure Hunt! Afterwards, Cap'n Blade and Quartermaster Trinity hunted down some other treasure in the form of ice cream! (We only get that delicious, cold, sweet goodness while on shoreleave, mind ye!)🍦🍨 And aye, I did indeed order mine saying "Aye, lass, I be havin' the SEA Salt Carrrmel Coffee"! 🏴‍☠️

ARR, you ready for our Pirate Adventure Day? Join the crew of the Pirates of the Rusty Cutlass for the day of Pirate Adventure and play down at the swim beach. Climb aboard the "BLACK VULTURE", make crafts, games, treasure hunt, tug of war, walk the plank, songs, and more. Costumes are encouraged. Nate the Great Magic show and balloon art at 10am and a pirate-themed movie at 9pm.

Had an arrrsome time yesterday at Clay's Resort Jellystone Park for their Pirate & Mermaid Day at the beach! As usual, we were so busy entertaining and having our photos taken that we couldn't take as many photos as we'd have liked but we did manage to get a few. Cheers to Mermaid Tami and Clay's Park fer having us, looking forward to next year!
