American Kang Duk Won runs weekly karate classes in the Riley Community Room, and every year they assemble and deliver baskets full of holiday goodies to our local veterans. Help out this great community effort and donate a basket!

We recently hosted a class of 40 first-year St. Lawrence students who volunteered to complete some tree maintenance at Bend in the River Park. The students edged the sod around trees, lopped off low hanging branches, clipped suckers off trunks, removed supports, and placed protective wiring around trunks.

Thank you professors, Erika Kissam and Anna Carpenter for thinking of Canton Recreation as an opportunity for their students to give back.
