The Canton Recreation Department provides year-round programs for all Canton residents. Additionally, the Recreation Department runs the Canton Recreational Pavilion Ice Rink, Taylor Park Beach, Bend in the River Park, Priest Pickle Ball Courts, and more.
We welcome and encourage open discussion on Canton Recreation Department’s social media sites - including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube pages as well as any online story-sharing forums. We look forward to any comments, stories and experiences you want to share with us and our community.
The purpose of these sites is for the free exchange of ideas and commentary regarding issues of interest and importance to our community. By accessing, viewing and/or posting content to any Recreation Department social media site, you accept, without limitation or qualification, the following terms of use, as well as any other terms of use required by the company or entity that owns and operates the parent social media site (e.g. any terms of service required by Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc.). If you do not agree to the terms of this policy, you may not view or post any content to any Recreation Department social media site. As a user or visitor, you agree that you will not violate any laws, regulations including copyright and intellectual property rights laws and others regarding content either shared or received. You also agree that you will not transmit material that is considered unlawful, disruptive, threatening, profane, abusive, harassing, embarrassing, defamatory, obscene, libelous or is deemed to be an invasion of another person’s privacy, is hateful or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable as solely determined by the Recreation Department’s staff; impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity, transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials or any other form of solicitation or material that contains software “viruses” or “malware”. Posts that violate these terms will be deleted and violations reported to the company or entity that owns and operates the social media site where the abuse occurred.
