Love showing off friends creativity. Look at these Spirit Dolls Terri Ireland makes. Spirit Dolls are uses for everything from healing, love, protection, money, fertility, cleansing and much more! Terri has some stock items but she also makes to order. Terri also offers classes for people to make their own. A great idea for one of the many clubs we have here in Canyon Lake.
She can make them into magnets, or with hooks or as pendants. Message if you would like more info and I’ll pass it along.

IKEA dresser into a dresser fit for a mermaid.
The original al looked like this only the smaller version. Alise added the trim on the front so I could add the seahorse pulls I found without it looking dumb. This was several years ago.
As you can see the years have not been kind.

Thought I’d share a craft I’ve been doing whilst sheltering in place.
I’ve been alternating doing my taxes and doing crafts. I’m following a change is as good as a rest.
After working on spring cleaning the office I found A BUNCH of mermaid related ribbons etc. that I honestly didn’t realize how much I had. So I decided to make a wreath.
I used a dollar store green wire wreath base.
I cut the ribbon and tulle into roughly 6” long strips. I gathered together sets of like colors of either 6 or 12 per set (there are 6 sections on the wreath base).
Start 2 ring in from the outside.
Keep going until you have a full wreath. Dig around for some additional decor to finish it off. I found some plastic Christmas ornaments I used as “bubbles” and a couple of Xmas picks.

Thought you guys might be interested in this. The person who volunteered to make Neptune’s throne for the Mermaid Festival lives in Washington State so the parameters were low cost, has to fit in a suitcase and has to be collapsible afterwards for the limited storage we have.
