Zach’s grandma is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever worked with. She went above and beyond to arrange every detail of his senior session, sharing little things about him that would make the experience extra special. From the moment I met Zach, it was clear just how incredible he is—a truly remarkable young man who is loved deeply by everyone who knows him.

Zach’s grandpa brought him to the session, and the bond between them was beautiful to witness. Watching the two of them together felt like a glimpse into something sacred—the kind of relationship that fills your heart. Before I even arrived, Zach was sitting with his grandpa on a porch at WT. While they waited, a former Clarendon student, now attending WT, stopped to say hello. It was clear Zach is something of a hometown hero, recognized and cherished wherever he goes.

During our session, I learned so much about Zach. His love for Christmas shone brightly as we talked about his favorite movie, The Grinch, and the scenes that made him laugh the most. As we walked around campus, Zach greeted every WT student with a big smile and, in some cases, a warm hug. Those students—likely rushing after midterms—left with smiles, and I could tell that Zach’s hugs were exactly what they needed. At one point, he looked at me and said, “I am joy,” and it brought tears to my eyes because it couldn’t be more true.

Zach also shared memories that are close to his heart, like a story about his Nana’s ceramic frog that had us both smiling every time it came up. It was easy to see how much joy that memory still brings him. He also spoke about his dear friend Madison, lighting up with excitement as he shared stories about her.

By the end of the session, Zach had done such an incredible job, and his grandpa promised him a trip to Walmart for Christmas candles and decorations—a reward that he had more than earned.

This was my first time meeting Zach, but it felt like I had known him and his grandpa my whole life. Their kindness, joy, and love made the session unforgettable. Anyone lucky enough to know Zach and his family is truly blessed. Zach, you brought so much light and happiness to this session, and I’ll never forget the joy you shared with me and everyone we met that day.

❤️ This is your reminder to record your mom this weekend. Record her around the kitchen, ask her why she used chicken broth instead of water or why she does or doesn’t use velveeta & record that, record her fussing about the same ol stuff like she always does, prank her and record that, record her funny sayings and her bits of advice. Ask her to tell you about the day you were born and record her face as she lights up remembering. Record her telling you to put some socks on that baby and when she tells you don’t touch the food without washing your hands. Ask her questions, both serious and silly ones, and record her answers. Play her favorite song and when she starts dancing/singing, yep, you guessed it.. record it. Make her laugh.. I mean REALLY laugh and for the love of God, record that too. And take lots of pictures of and WITH her.. Even when she tells you to stop. Take them anyway. Record it anyway. And when you get the chance, tell her you know she did her best with what she had and her best was enough. And if you want, record that too. I hope this hits you in just the right spot and you take heed because the day will come when there is a longing so deep to just.. hear her voice, her laugh.. see her as she was.. and when that day comes, you’ll pull out your recordings & feel just a little bit of her again.

What a joy it was to meet the Payne-Messer family! 💕 Their kindness and love for one another were truly inspiring.

Nancy and her husband, TJ, brought their three amazing kids, while her parents, Paul and Carrie, radiated pride and joy for their children and grandchildren. It’s clear this family has a special bond! We were also joined by Nancy’s brother, Brad, making this session even more special.

Messer Family
Oh, how I love this family! 🥰 Every year, I look forward to seeing them and watching these sweet kids grow up. Their little personalities and the bond they share are the absolute sweetest. 💕

We always have so much fun at their sessions—lots of hugs, giggles, and memories made. It means the world to me that they travel to see me every year. This year, they even made the trip twice because of the rain! Normally, we schedule their session right after their Santa session, but they were so gracious in rescheduling, and I truly appreciate them for it.

It was a dark and chilly fall day in Palo Duro Canyon, and while I’d usually reschedule, sometimes there just isn’t time for that. This was one of those times, and I’m so glad we went ahead! The Seward family is so precious, and their maternity session was a joy to capture. 💛

Since this session, they’ve welcomed their new baby, Lawton Jacob, into the world, and he is absolutely perfect! 🍼✨ Big brother Braxton, just 1 year old, already has such a sweet role, and I know Tori will handle being a boy mom with so much grace and love.

We even chased some wild turkeys during the session! Braxton loves turkeys, so of course, we had to get some photos with them in the background. It didn’t go quite as planned, but it made for such a fun and unforgettable memory. 🦃❤️

🍂📸 Can you believe this was just a mini session? I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the Taylor family at WT, surrounded by the most perfect fall colors. Their outfits, the scenery—it was truly a dream shoot! 😍

Heather is absolutely precious—so kind and beautiful, inside and out. Even though Beckham wasn’t feeling his best with an earache, he still showed up and gave it his all. With those striking eyes and stunning hair, he could easily be a model—such a handsome little guy! 💙 And Brooklyn, the big sister, is not only gorgeous but also such a sweet and caring sibling. Watching their love and connection was the highlight of the session. 💕

The Copley family 🧡 One of my absolute favorite families—dear friends who mean so much to us! Every session with them is such a joy, but they always seem to fly by too quickly. I cherish the time I get to spend with them and am so grateful for their kindness, love, and willingness to travel to me each time.

We had the most beautiful fall day at WT Campus—everything was perfect! The colors, the light, their outfits, and most importantly, them. Savannah and Jeff are the sweetest parents, and their kiddos, Beau and KK, are some of my kids' closest cousins and friends. They are truly amazing inside and out, and I am so blessed to capture these moments for them.

🌾 “Grandpa, tell me ‘bout the good old days…” 🎶

This year’s Rowley family session was extra special because Pops joined in! You can just feel the love he has for his little redheaded girls, and their sweet bond absolutely stole my heart. ❤️ Watching them together reminded me how precious these moments are.

The Rowley family never fails to make my sessions unforgettable—with their horses, their cowboy roots, and the love they share as a family. Capturing their memories in the golden fall light was an honor, as always.

It’s always such an honor to photograph the Hauser family. This year, their Santa session was extra special despite some changes to our plans—over three inches of rain meant we traded the outdoor magic for cozy moments by the fireplace in my home. But as always, this sweet family made the best of it!

The girls looked absolutely beautiful, and the boys were so handsome in their Christmas outfits—they couldn’t have been more perfect for a Santa session. Thank you, Stacia, for bringing your family to my home and for being so understanding about the weather. Your kindness and thoughtfulness truly mean the world to me. And thank you for including Sadie, and making her feel so special. It warmed my heart more than you know. ❤️

Santa sessions always bring a little magic, and sometimes big emotions too! Sweet Shayann had a moment of being upset, but Santa wrapped her in the most comforting hug, and it was pure joy watching her big smile return. She’s such a good big sister to Harli, who warmed up to Santa so quickly this year—what a delight to see her excitement!

The boys were wonderful as always, so helpful with their little sisters and full of smiles. Even though they might feel like they’ve outgrown Santa, you’d never know it—they had such a great time catching up with him. That’s the thing about Santa Chrys: he’s not just Santa for these kids; he builds real relationships with them, becoming a friend over the years.

Stacia, your family is such a blessing to me—not just as clients, but as dear friends. Having you in my home felt like having my own family here. I’m so grateful for the love and warmth you bring to every session.

The Ortiz Family 🍂

Absolutely gorgeous in every way—this family radiates love and warmth! From the moment I met them, I knew we’d click instantly. Stephen and Joann have created the sweetest little crew, and you can truly feel the love they have for one another.

Their three beautiful girls were absolute joys to photograph. Cami, their oldest, came home from college just for this session. Even with the age difference, her connection with her younger sisters was so heartwarming to see. Molly, the third-grader, was a little shy at first but had the most beautiful smile and made the perfect middle sister. And Madi—oh my goodness, their 3-year-old baby girl—is clearly adored by everyone!

Joann is undoubtedly the heart of their family, and Stephen, surrounded by his gorgeous girls, is such an important piece of their puzzle. You can tell he’s loved and cherished by all of them.

This session at was a dream. The fall colors were stunning, their outfits were absolute perfection, and the love they share made every shot special.

Also, I shared a little editing video from their session on my stories, and the outpouring of love for Joann was incredible. It’s so clear how sweet and loved she is by everyone who knows her!

This family is truly one of a kind, and I’m so grateful to have captured these moments for them. ❤️

The Lindley Family

This incredible family holds a special place in my heart as part of our baseball family. While our boys aren’t playing together right now, I know they’ll share the field again in the future. Family is family, and the Lindleys will always be a part of ours.

I was so excited to have them in front of my camera! The weekend of our session was a busy one for Dana and Chris—they were in the middle of moving into their new home, and Dana had a million other things on her plate. But she made time for photos with her mom and uncle while they were visiting, and I’m so glad she did! It was such a pleasure meeting them both.

This session was full of love, and I have to brag about Dana’s boys—they were AMAZING. Not one complaint the entire time, and when I asked them to hold their mom’s hand, they did it so naturally and sweetly. That kind of tenderness isn’t something you often see with teenage boys! It’s clear Dana is the heart of their home, loved and admired by her boys.

I always enjoy spending time with the Lindleys—they are one of the best families I know. ❤️

The Rowley Family 🤎
This session was so special! The Rowleys hold a meaningful place in my heart, and it was a joy to capture these moments for them. Pops even made an appearance—I managed to snap a few candid shots before he joined in for some family photos. The love between him and his granddaughters was so sweet to see.

Bella and Mila, the two beautiful redheads, brought so much personality to this session. Their bond is filled with laughter, playful teasing, and so much love. From Bella’s giggles to Mila’s cheeky antics, these moments perfectly reflect their sisterly connection.

One of my favorite parts of the session was photographing their horses, which are such a huge part of Bella and Mila’s lives. These girls spend countless hours riding, taking care of their horses, and competing on them nearly every weekend. Their horses aren’t just animals—they’re their pride and joy. Including them in the session added a personal and meaningful touch that truly captures who they are.

The Rowley Sisters 🤎

These two beautiful gingers have a special place in my heart! I've had the honor of photographing Bella and Mila before, and it’s always such a joy. Not only are they stunningly photogenic, but they’re also in my kids’ class, so I get to see firsthand just how wonderful they truly are. 🌟

Raised by the most humble and genuine parents, these cowgirls have hearts of pure gold. Their sisterly bond is full of love, laughter, and just the right amount of playful mischief. From giggling fits to Bella pretending to lick Mila while Mila "throws a punch"—these moments capture their personalities perfectly. 💫
