I had the absolute pleasure of photographing these two gorgeous sisters, and let me tell you, they were so much fun! Their laughter was contagious, their bond undeniable, and the way they love each other is something truly special. 💕 And can we talk about their matching dresses?! 😍 Pure perfection.

If you had told me 22 years ago where I’d be today, I don’t think I would have believed you. The Lord has been so kind! (And that’s a LONG story, but hey, let’s grab coffee—I’d love to swap stories together!)

Never would I have imagined my high school hobby of photography turning into such a life-giving gift. (Fun Fact: I shot my first wedding my senior year of high school with a film camera!) Had the absolute pleasure of photographing Bailee for her senior session! 🌟 This beautiful, outgoing young woman made my job so easy with her gorgeous smile and sweet, kind personality. Just like her mama, Bailee is stunning and radiates such grace in front of the camera. It was an honor to photograph her, just as it was her sister’s senior pictures a few years ago. She’s a true natural—could easily be a model! 📸✨

🦅💜SIDELINE SEASON IS HERE AGAIN!!
🦅🤍From now until next June, you’ll find us in a stadium chair, or folding chair, or shoved on a bench somewhere next to another mom and dad, grandparents, doing the same thing.
🦅💜We’ll sit through rain and wind and snow for football, baseball, or soccer.
🦅🤍We’ll drive hours on the road for football, basketball, and baseball.
🦅💜We’ll grab early morning coffee for those flag football games and late night drive-thru for out-of-town games.
🦅🤍We’ll stand at cross country meets - we’ll get ready for track season too.
🦅💜We’ll help wash uniforms, socks, and smelly tees and wonder how they grew out of their shoes so quickly.
🦅🤍We’ll drive back and forth to practice and then back and forth again, usually on the same day—sometimes in the same hour.
🦅💜We’ll grab snacks, pack sandwiches, and find cracker crumbs smashed between our car seats for months to come.
🦅🤍We’ll cheer and support when they score the winning goal and when they sit the bench. We’ll do the same for their friends who feel like our kids, too.
🦅💜 We’ll complain when the days get long, hot, exhausting, and expensive, only to wake up grateful to be able do it all again the following day.
🦅🤍We’ll pray they stay safe, have fun, and learn a few life skills along the way. Yes, sideline season is here again.
🦅💜What a joy it is to watch them shine.
🦅🤍What an honor it is to be their biggest fan.
🦅EAGLE fans forever.🦅

I am the taker of the photos…

I am the receiver of the groans, they eye-rolls and the hurry ups.

I am the one who disrupts the ‘moments’, to capture them.

And sometimes it’s hard to be that person.

But I am also the holder of the memories…

I am the one who keeps the precious proof.

I am the bearer of the stories, the maker of the photo books that bring tears, laughter and love rushing into the room each time they are opened.

And if you are too, please know you are capturing this life, as it happens.

You are capturing stages, ages, twists, turns and last moments no one could have foreseen.

And generations to come will thank you for it, even if no one does right now.

The eye-rolls will be replaced one day with absolute all-consuming gratitude, for the image of a smiling face so missed and a memory returned home to stay.

Keep disrupting life to capture it my friends, when it’s all that is left, someone somewhere will be so very glad you did.
