I know I've been a little quiet on social media lately—wedding season is in full swing, right? It was an absolute joy photographing Masen’s senior portraits, especially with his best friend Bayley by his side! 🎓🐾 Masen is an incredible young man, graduating from the fire academy and looking towards a future in the armed forces. I've known him for years, and his drive and ambition never cease to amaze me. I know his parents and family are bursting with pride, and his fire family is equally proud of his accomplishments. Here's to Masen and all the incredible things his future holds! 🚒🇺🇸

Photographing Jordan & Rob’s gorgeous wedding at the Hermitage Museum was an absolute joy. The intimate setting with their closest friends and family made the day truly special. Every moment was filled with love and laughter, from the emotional exchange of personal vows on the lawn where there wasn’t a dry eye in sight to the lively dancing that ended the night on such a high note. It was a beautiful celebration of their love, and I’m so grateful to have been part of it. 💙🧡

First and foremost, can my couple, Chelsea and Joe, be any cuter for their engagement session? This was so much fun, and I really think we laughed the whole time. I love when my couples decide to do engagements because I feel like it’s a perfect way for us to bond before their big day.

Next, I know I have been a little MIA with my posting. I’m sorry! I have been fully booked from March through August, and it’s been a crazy good ride. I do have some, but minimal, availability in September and October as those are my biggest wedding months of the year. If you’re looking to book a family, senior, branding, or other kind of session, please contact me as soon as possible to ensure I have availability for you.

I will not be doing Christmas Minis this year, but I have a fun new thing I will be doing in their place. Instead, I will be going to my clients’ houses and doing jammie pictures in front of their tree. That way, especially for the littles, everyone’s comfortable, and the sentimental value of being in your own home makes it that much more meaningful. Please don’t hesitate to email me at [email protected] or text me at 443-274-8119 for details and to reserve your time with me. Booking for that will go fast, and my availability for November and December is limited during that time.

Also, 2025 couples, if you’re considering inquiring for your wedding with me, please do so ASAP! Bookings for weddings are going like crazy, and I would hate for anyone to miss their special day.

On that last and final note, I want to give a friendly reminder to clients: you are only booked for my services upon signed contract and retainer paid. Without that, your date is not booked with me, and I only hold the date within 24 hours of sending those out. Please ensure to sign your contract and pay your retainer so your date can’t get snagged away. I book up extremely fast and can’t guarantee a session/wedding spot after that 24 hours is up.

Hello! I’m Rachel, owner of Bayside Studios. I’ve always had a passion for creativity, and in 2017, I was blessed with the opportunity to take photography from my favorite 15 year hobby to my dream career.

I’m a fully educated, licensed, and published photographer on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and I have found that I have a true talent for capturing real moments, and an eye for bringing out my client’s personalities.
