2025 is looking good. 2026 is starting to book. And, this weekend, the universe took me out back to show me all that's growing in the garden from the seeds I've been planting. And it's beautiful. ✨️

This is only minute two through four of this Lhegendary Weddings ceremony. And look at all of the moments that happened naturally and were crafted within the ceremony, and then beautifully captured by the amazing photographer team .

At Lhegendary Weddings, we're all about crafting Lhegendary😉 ceremonies filled with as many little intentional moments as possible.✨️ We're not going to force anything. We're not going to try to be funny.🎭 If there's funny there, though, for sure, we're going to appropriately approach it with class and grace.

But mostly, we're going to highlight the connection and the love between you two and your family. We're going to make sure that your guests feel that love from the first minute to the last.

It was an honor to be asked to be asked to be Shelby and Courtland's Master of Ceremony, crafting and telling their beautiful story in a way that only Lhegendary Weddings could.

Kelsey and Brendan: How they met, and their first date.

Their seed of happily ever was planted four years ago. Kelsey, accepting a job with a company in Denver, was in town to find an apartment. While out with one of her friends from the area, and a few glasses of wine in, Kelsey proclaimed that she was going to be the bachelorette of Denver and proceeded to download a dating app.😊

She, in fact, would not be the bachelorette of Denver.😊 As soon as her profile was active, Brendan happened to be scrolling, and Kelsey popped up. The gorgeous woman in the picture stopped his scroll, and he dug a little deeper. Seeing she was from Ohio, Brendan slid into Kelsey’s DM’s.😊

Within the next few messages that went back and forth, Brendan shot his shot and scored a date for the following day.

He picked Kelsey up from Hotel Indigo, where she was staying, and upon first sight, they both were thinking, “How you doin?”😊

They went to Union Station for a couple of drinks. Thoroughly enjoying each other’s company and conversation, and not wanting the evening to end, they then went to Urban Farmer. And then to 1UP, an arcade bar, where the realization of the amazingness of this woman had built up to a point where Brendan really wanted to kiss her, and he told her so. And she politely informed him that her first kiss would not be in a bar full of leather-jacket-wearing bikers. 😊

Still, the entire evening was truly magical for both of them. With every passing minute in each other’s presence, what had started as a little tickle in the pit of their stomachs, turned into full on giddiness by the time they called it a night back at Union Station. As their last first date, it will go down as their best first date. And Brendan got his kiss.

Nella and Joe: How they met❤️

Unknowingly following the plan that was set in place eons ago, Nella and Joe, each agreed to tag along with a friend to a Halloween party👻, completely unaware that such a small decision would lead to them meeting their boo.😉 And to think, Nella almost decided to stay in. 😊

We won’t dwell on the fact that Joe was too cool to wear a costume to the Halloween party, but the fine-looking cat had his attention from the moment she walked in. It wasn’t long before Joe and Nella would meet.

And as if this was simply meant to be, meeting was all it took. For the rest of the evening, they danced, drank, talked, and got to know each other a little better.

They discovered they both are Patriot fans and that something stirred deep within while in each other’s presence. When they parted ways, they knew that whatever that feeling was, they wanted more of it in their life. This led to a first date, and Joe making his first appearance on Nella’s Instagram feed a week later. 😊 And they have been inseparable since.

Tabitha ❤️ Andrew: The proposal

On a planned date night, Andrew took Tabitha to a wonderful beachfront restaurant in Naples. When they arrived, they were taken to a table on the beach. Along the way, Tabitha noticed rose petals leading to the table, and more on their table. She thought nothing more of it other than Andrew just being amazing at making her feel special.

And as they ate dinner, Andrew kept looking over at this beautiful woman thankful, excited, and thoroughly smitten. As the sun started to set, their waiter, an accomplice in the plan, asked them if they’d like him to take pictures of them near the water.

As they started walking down to the water, Andrew fell back a step or two. When Tabitha turned around to pose for the picture, there on one knee with ring in hand, was Andrew asking her to be his forever.

And the hired photographers who had casually blended in with the rest of the diners, captured all of Tabitha’s shock, emotions, and her very happily saying “Yes!” to the love of her life.

Leah ❤️ Robert

How they met:

God planted their seed of happily ever twenty-five years ago, unbeknownst to them at the time, of course. They were only 2 years old, in Robert’s mother, Ms. Mary’s preschool class.

At that early age, their ageless souls recognized each other for who they were, each other’s mirror image. And so they placed a beacon on each other, knowing that when it was time for their story to begin, God would light those beacons and they would find each other.

That beacon was lit when they were sophomores in high school. They had only seen each other randomly after preschool until they started working at the same job and really connected, building a friendship.

A year later, a bud protruded from the spot in the universe where their seed was planted 14 years earlier. While on spring break with their friends, they had an “Oh sh*t” moment when it became abundantly clear to them what their souls had been trying to tell them over the past few months.

They shared a magical first kiss on that trip as they sat on the lifeguard stand at the beach. And from that moment, they have been inseparable.

This beautiful union got its start in the DMs on the day after Shamol’s birthday with a simple “Happy birthday” message. Two years later, on the day after Brandon’s birthday, Shamol proposed to the love of his life.

Shamol planned a surprise party at a beautiful rooftop venue, surrounded by friends that came from all over the world. Brandon had his suspicions that Shamol was working on something big for his birthday. And the party proved his suspicions correct.

But when they got back from brunch the next day, in the middle of their living room, with two of Brandon’s closest friends present, Shamol got down on one knee and asked Brandon to be his forever. And after the shock subsided a little, Brandon happily said, “yes!” to the love of his life.

Life has thrown some heavy stuff at you over the past two years since getting married. And still, you two walk through this life with this same approach. Together, hand in hand, and therefore always triumphant.

Have you ever heard a wedding horror story where the officiant got the couple's names wrong? Awkward!!! 👀🎤🚫

As you start your search for a wedding officiant, here’s a tip you might not have considered: Can they pronounce your names correctly?

Your name is a significant part of your identity, especially on your wedding day. It deserves to be said correctly, with respect and precision. When interviewing potential officiants, don't just assume they'll get it right—ask them to pronounce your names as they will during the ceremony. And make sure they know exactly how you want your names to be said, not just the version you 'let slide' in everyday situations.

This day is all about you. Your names (or whatever you want to be called informally in the informal parts of the ceremony) should echo through your ceremony with the dignity they warrant. So, put some respect on your names, and ensure your officiant does the same.

It’s a small detail that makes a huge difference.And that's why one of the first questions in our consultation is the pronunciation of your names.

Alexis ❤️ Buddy 😍😍😍😍

Their seed of happily ever after was planted five years ago. Attending the same law school, Alexis and Buddy would see each other in passing and knew of each other through friends who intermingled.

One day with finals upon them, which meant stress and a head crammed with information, and you don’t want to talk to anyone so as to not lose any of said information, Buddy saw Alexis sitting in the hall getting some last-minute studying in, and thought that this was the perfect time to talk to the girl he’d been wanting to talk to for a while.😂

Alexis, realizing that Buddy was not getting the hint, put her study materials aside and decided to join the conversation she was trying very hard not to. 😁And that, she will say, is one of the best decisions she has ever made.

The handsome distraction may have even helped because she passed her exams, as did Buddy. From there, they took their time and built the foundation for this union, their friendship. They would see each other in a lecture series once a week, even holding the seat next to them, if they got there first. In those lectures, coupled with texts and calls, they started falling for each other. Finally, they decided to face the evidence presented before them. This was simply meant to be. Case closed!

With the help of his co-conspirator, Adrianne’s stepdad, Paul proposed in a very sweet way.

On a trip to New Orleans, during a very hot and humid September, the three of them explored and went back to the hotel to get ready for their fancy dinner. Adrianne was all done up and wearing heels, looking forward to not walking anymore. But the Uber plan she was counting on was switched at the last minute. As they left the Airbnb, the guys suggested they go for a walk first. And after saying a few curse words in her head, thinking of walking in the heat and over the cobblestones in her cute heels, she went along, having not the slightest clue as to what was about to happen.

The curses in her head continued when they wanted to then walk to Jackson Square park to take pictures, which they had already done yesterday. But she went along. As they crossed the street, the guy across the street with a fancy camera, not taking pictures, made her look at Paul’s pocket to see if there was a ring box bulging, But there was not.🤣

As they entered the park, dad slipped Paul the ring box. When dad posed like he was going to take their picture, Paul got down on one knee and said a whole lot of beautiful things to Adrianne that neither of them can remember today. They both kinda blacked out in the blissful moment, as he asked her to be his forever. And as the stranger with the fancy camera, who Paul hired to be there, caught all of the shock, surprise, and happiness, Adrianne said’ “Yes!” to the love of her life.💍

Time It Right: Schedule your ceremony later in the day to avoid peak heat hours. Not only will the temperature be more bearable, but the lighting for photos during golden hour will have your wedding album looking like a series of masterpieces. Early evening ceremonies can be a magical time when the sunset paints the sky just for you. Shade and Hydration Stations: Keep your guests cool and hydrated by setting up shade areas, hydration stations, and fans. Offer refreshing, chilled beverages like cucumber water, iced tea, or even personalized cocktails. Choose Appropriate Attire: Opt for lightweight fabrics not just for the bride and bridesmaids but for everyone involved. Linen and light cotton are your best friends. For the gentlemen, think breathable suits. And yes, grooms and groomsmen, have a backup shirt ready! Sweating through the ceremony is guaranteed, so a fresh shirt for the reception is a must. Just three days ago, for the first time ever, I faced one of the toughest moments in my career—I was let go by a couple who felt the ceremony script I crafted didn't meet their expectations. The news brought a whirlwind of emotions, and though every script I’ve created has been cherished by couples, this was a stark reminder that not every creation will resonate with everyone. It's still better than Aunt Jackie walking in five minutes after the ceremony started. 🤷‍♂️😂 If your people are notorious for being late to everything, you might want to consider that fake start time, 30 minutes prior to the actual start time. The con of this decision is that you may have the 'early' people roaming around as you are trying to get your pictures done. So choose wisely.
