~ Testimony ~

We got married May 18, 2024! We were super tense all week because of the rain we had gotten and the rain that was soon to come. We had a back up plan all mapped out to use the boathouse. Luckily it was a beautiful, sunny day!

Water’s Edge was absolutely perfect for our wedding day! Especially with having a big ceremony and a small reception. I am so happy with how the day turned out and the beautiful outdoor area to take pictures in. I was so glad to have a cabin for me and my girls to stay the night before in and get ready in. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and I’m so happy we got to have it in a beautiful place!

Why did you decide to get married at Water's Edge?

We chose Water’s Edge because of the beautiful surrounding water and spacious indoor/outdoor options. The location is also pretty close to both of us, and it’ll make setting up for the wedding way easier!

Relationship History:

We met as teenagers while working together at Culver’s and became best friends instantly, which eventually grew into the love that we share today. We’re both originally from separate sides of the United States, me from New Hampshire and him from California, so everyday I think about how lucky we were that God brought us together.

Best Wedding Planning Experience:

I think the best wedding planning experience I’ve had so far is the engagement photoshoot we had with our lovely photographer Megan Casasola. The shoot was full of love and was so fun to do, and now we have beautiful pictures that we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives.

We had our wedding October 28, 2023. It was super cold and rainy so our plans of having our wedding outside went out the window. Thankfully Water’s Edge has this beautiful boathouse where we could hold our ceremony. It was more perfect than I could ever imagine!

Being able to set up the wedding and have the rehearsal the night before was amazing. The house was perfect for me and my girls to get ready in so we were away from everyone. The porch was picture perfect as well. The view of the lake was breathtaking! The reception hall was big enough for all of our tables, our dj, food, and dance floor. We are so pleased with how great our wedding turned out here at Water’s Edge! Thank you so much for letting us have the wedding of our dreams here!

Water’s Edge fulfilled all of our wants and more to make our day more perfect than we could ever dream. From not having to worry about lodging, to the ceremony in the boathouse, and the reception in the hall, it was an amazing location to begin our lives together. Amy was amazing to work with and quickly answered our questions and offered suggestions to make our day perfect. A beautiful place! Thank you!

We loved the feeling of the venue! It gave us such a southern charm. We had an amazing day at this venue! It seriously made the feeling of getting married magical. The venue owner is seriously so kind. She is super understanding and always helps to remind you of certain things you may be forgetting. And has amazing suggestions. We loved our experience at Water’s Edge and would highly recommend this venue to anyone wanting to get married.

We loved the rustic charm of this venue along with the open countryside views. The reception hall was perfect for our small wedding groups. The tables and chairs were perfect and was a great deal along with the many areas this venue gives for people to hang out around. The venue owner gave us many options for help around for any and everything we could need. She also made it very easy and stress free. Even though we skipped on the extras we had all we could need to begin with. The day was magical. Thanks to the Water’s Edge we had a wonderful and beautiful wedding.
