After me and the kids made our money at our new watermelon stand, we drove around the block on Bloomfield and stopped to support these kids with their candy and lemonade stand..

I picked up a new hobby this year, I started mostly everything with grow lights in the basement and I finally planted everything in the garden last weekend.. Collard greens🥬, Tomatoes🍅 , Okra , Bell peppers🫑, Watermelon🍉, Cucumber🥒 and Cantaloupe 🍈..

Sikeston lost a great double overtime thriller last night to a good, talented team…congrats to Father Tolton….Sikestons players & coaches kept their cool, no technicals or ejections for the obviously questionable officiating…The Bulldogs showed us tonight that they could play through adversities, with 3 starters fouling out, our reserves stepped up, they could have laid down, but they fought hard, no quit.. we missed costly free throws and made costly turnovers, BUT! The kids never gave up!
We lost this battle, but the war is far from over! Good luck to Sikeston and all of the area teams the post season….let the whole state see what we already know, Bootheel basketball is special!
